Seasonal Breeding in Pythons: Can they breed pythons year round?

Broadcast on:
12 Jul 2023

Welcome to episode # 533

And we are joined by William Filipek, and Rob Stone is filling in for Owen. He is under the weather.

And we are discussing a post William put up the other day. He had a female go much later than the previous year, and he seems to think that this, along with other breedings, debunks the idea of pythons breeding only seasonally.

As always, the idea is that we understand “the cosmic octopus” and what is at play when it comes to breeding pythons. A few species of pythons can breed year-round, but can all of them?
