Year wrapped: Capital raise sets Artemis Resources up for busy year

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) executive director George Ventouras talks with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the company’s 2024 achievements and outlook for 2025.
Ventouras highlights key milestones, including the discovery of high-grade lithium with spodumene on its tenements earlier this year and renewed focus on the company’s gold projects, particularly regional exploration across its tenements.
Discussing the recent capital raise, Ventouras noted that the oversubscribed $4 million raise would fund drill testing of multiple targets early next year.
He emphasised the groundwork done to refine exploration areas and revealed drilling programs set for January through March 2025, targeting high-potential zones.
“The money is going to be spent in the ground, which is really exciting,” Ventouras said, pointing to significant upside across the company’s extensive Pilbara tenements.
Looking ahead, Ventouras outlined plans to advance gold exploration, particularly at high-grade Titan Prospect, while remaining open to opportunities amid anticipated M&A activity in the northwest Pilbara region.

Hello and welcome back to the Proactive Studio. I'm Tyler Tully and today I'm joined by Artemis Resources Executive Director, George Van Torres, who's going to talk us through the company's key achievements and milestones in 2024 and give us an outlook for next year. George, thanks for joining us today. Thanks very much, Tyler. It was great to be with you. Sorry, it's been a busy year for Artemis. What have you been up to and what are some key milestones that the company's breached? Yeah, look, it's been a really intriguing year for us and it celebrates almost a year of my involvement with Artemis. So it's been a great year, we believe, as far as accomplishments concerned. But when we started the year, our mandate was to find lithium on our tenements, you know, with the lithium boom that was going on, and particularly in the region with regards to azure minerals in there, massive discovery and subsequent takeover. So we were fortunate enough to find very high grade lithium on our property. It's got spodumene, it's high coarse-grain crystals, it's everything that is wanted in the resource. So that was a great achievement for us. We tracked it, we've got plenty of opportunity in that regard. So that was really exciting and that took place in the first quarter of 2024. And then following on from that, you know, gold's always been in the Artemis DNA. So for us, it was really about revisiting the gold. We do have a resource, as the public might know, 374,000 ounces. So it's an opportunity to identify further mineralization on our tenements. And so what we chose to do is rather than look at our Carlo castle resource and try and build on that from the ground up, we took a step back. And in particular with deGrace Hemi discovery being a series of pits rather than one big, one big pit. We took a step back in football. You know, do we have something similar in the sense of, can we find multiple Carlos? So we revisited our tenements. We not started from scratch, but we redesigned our exploration strategy to take advantage of the knowledge that people have gained by virtue of the discoveries in the region. And looked at our tenements and what we've been able to find is some really high grade, outcropping gold veins at surface. It's not the nugget story of Artemis gone past. This is gold in hard rock. We're on the source. We're seeing gold everywhere, which is really quite exciting. So we know that further exploration will deliver more resources. You know, we're not going to hit something on every hole or every rock that we collect, but we know through the sheer volume of what we're seeing, we're going to have some interesting news coming through over the next few months or so. Yeah, definitely sounds like exciting times for the company. Do you mind touching on the capital raise that you announced yesterday and how this is going to set you up really for 2025? Yeah, look, it was really quite fortuitous for us. I mean, we did a capital raise in around May of this year, and that was to drive that ground exploration on the gold side. We did that work. We delineated quite a number of targets. We've inherited some targets from previous exploration and previous management. And what this latest capital raise provides for us, which I might add was heavily oversubscribed. But we've taken $4 million and we've got a series of targets that we would like to drill test in the coming months. Artemis has probably not drilled as much as it wanted to over the last few years. But what we have done is that that groundwork that's really required to refine the areas, pick up the best spot to put a drill hole. So really, that money is going to be spent in the ground, which is really quite exciting. So coming into January 2025, probably towards the end of the month or beginning of February, we'll be looking to get a drill rig on site and drill them both compelling targets. We've already started clearing the heritage purposes some of our better known prospects, like the high grade type and prospects. So we really expect to see some action January, February, March. And hopefully those results will come out and then off we go. So what is your outlook for next year and what are some goals that Artemis has for 2025? Yeah, it looks certainly that the key goal is to do some drilling. That's exploration. And we can do a rock chip and we need to do soil sampling and we need to do that work to really define and refine what's going on. But ultimately, we've got to put holes in the ground to really know what we've got. So shareholders should be excited with some drill programs we've
