In this week’s episode of Women Influencers, I spoke with Michelle Fraser, an engineering expert and consultant in the oil and gas industry, with over 25 years of experience working with global organizations in the UK and overseas. She is also the host of the Energy Sector Heroes podcast.

We discussed how she was encouraged throughout her school years to pursue a career in typical female roles and to avoid male dominated fields. However, Michelle knew what she wanted. She got her first job as a technician and then never looked back. Her source of inspiration was her parents, who taught her how to work hard, be authentic, and set boundaries.

Michelle shared how a big challenge she has had to overcome is believing in herself.  We thought that is probably more common than people care to admit.
