Wisconsin became the 25th right-to-work state in 2015. While that law ended forced dues for workers who don't want to be in a union, it didn't guarantee instant freedom. Some unions have fabricated their own opt-out periods, forcing workers to wait - and continue paying dues. That includes one union in Wisconsin that forces workers to wait 13 months before they can exercise their freedom to choose to leave their union.
