(upbeat music) - It's Coach Cow, and I'm here to present to you the flexing tent presented by Richie Lanza. Go Big Blue! - Friday, January 26th. Big Blue Nation was shaking Richie Lanza, checking back in for another edition of the flexing tent. Unfortunately, we got another defeat to cover. Unlike Texas A&M, unlike UNC Wilmington, those games went into overtime. This game we totally just laid an egg. Came in with everyone besides a do. Big Z coming off, his coming out party, and it was just a total letdown. If you listened to last episode, you know, this is just a total 180 from being such at a high. Big Z giving us even more optimism, kind of a shot in the arm. And for us to go from looking like the best offense in the nation, leading the country in scoring, which we still do, it was just an embarrassing. An embarrassing effort to say the least. In the second half, we were never in it. And I'm not saying our guys folded, but we just didn't have that look in our eyes where we felt like we can beat these guys, especially in the second half. This was the craziest environment all year so far. Blackout game in Columbia. For whatever reason, this new coach

has beaten us the last two times we've seen him. When Columbia comes to Kentucky, comes to Lex, that's gonna be some bulletin board info. We're definitely gonna be hungry for that game. And I feel confident we can beat them. I mean, they didn't really, they didn't really have a guy that we couldn't stop. It was just an overall embarrassment defensively. Couldn't find a way to score. We couldn't find a flow. The biggest stat that everyone keeps speaking on is, Cal had 17 different combinations of lineups that played at least one to three minutes together. I'm happy to say how deep we are with a do not being there. We're nine deep, 10 if you wanna include Jordan. Once we get a do, we're 10 deep, 11 if you wanna add Jordan.

And for us to have a roster or a bench that we can use that many guys, it's cool and all, but that's just too many lineups. And none of those lineups were really clicking.
