It's Coach Cal, and I'm here to present to you the flexing teams presented. Go Big Blue! Tuesday, November 16th, West Shaking Big Blue Nation, two games down so far in the season. I took another L in football, lots of NBA news, lots of recruiting news, and we're excited for this one. Coming off an impressive victory verse, Robert Morris, after the last time we played them, they humiliated us and eliminated us from the NIT tournament that Nurlan's Noel's season. Last to get into, of course we're not going to ignore, if you would listen to last episode, I was all in on the football team verse Tennessee. Obviously, it was a nail-biter, came down to the last play, regardless we didn't protect home field, and we didn't beat a team that we should have beat. I'm not about to go all in on football, however, I'm not going to act like I didn't predict a victory. Your boy was wrong. Your boy also predicted a victory verse, Duke, and that's going to be the first topic of today's show. The champions classic, last Coach K, Coach Cal matchup, most likely in history, in New York City, Madison Square Garden, game tipped off a little after 9.30, it was a late one, y'all. And to be real with you, I was very optimistic, but I'd be lying if I told you I knew about Trevor Keels. Trevor Keels is special. That man looks like an NFL football player playing the wrong sport. When you have him as your shooting guard, your second smallest player on the court, that's really scary. He's built like an NFL tight end, big body, and here we are throwing freshman Ty Ty Washington Adam. And Keels is a freshman as well, however, that boy Keels is a manchild, and if he's not a lottery pick, I don't know how many great players are really in college right now. However, he looks like a lock for a lottery pick. Obviously, Paolo is a lock too. He's probably a top three pick, possibly the top overall pick. It depends what team gets the first pick and their needs. But this man has a Ben Simmons tight body. He could bring the ball up. His mid range looks automatic. He looked very poised for his age and that big of a stage, you know what I'm saying? It looked like he was thriving in it and, you know, we've had some tough Duke matchups. The one most recently prior was that Zion, Cam Reddish, RJ Barrett beatdown, and that one was way more humiliating, of course. However, this one doesn't really sit well with me. It's the last time we probably played Coach K and, you know, he walks away from this matchup, feeling great, feeling comfortable. The whole second half, Duke pretty much was in control of the game and they set the pace. Paolo was pretty much the difference maker. I think Trevor Kills is an impossible matchup for us. And if we are unfortunate enough to match up with Duke again in March, I won't be feeling so optimistic. I'll be lying to you if I didn't tell you that. You know, if we do play them again in March, that I'll still believe in us.
