[music] Hello everybody and welcome to the "Sport of the Warning" podcast. This is review number 770 with a review of "Bad Boys Ride or Die." I'm Christopher Schnazzy. And I'm Stephen Miller. And if you're joining us for the first time, the "Sport of the Warning" podcast is a weekly film review program. Each week on a show we're going to dive into a debate, discuss and argue over the latest films coming to a theater, you. This week we are returning once again to talk about the latest film in the "Bad Boys" film franchise. Long time listeners to the show know that Stephen and I did like a trilogy review back in 2021, "Bad Boys for Life" came out and you know like we could have just done the one review but we thought nah we're having fun with this whole thing where like we catch up on films that we haven't had time to review and we just did like a boom full-on review of all three of those previous films back to back. And I think that I think we enjoyed the review. I think we enjoyed it. It was fun. What surprises me is so this was 2020 but it was January of 2020. So I think we had fun and I think we we actually I think we both surprised ourselves how much we enjoyed that that third film. I was very surprised not only how much I enjoyed the third film but how much I enjoyed the franchise like I didn't look back to see my reviews but I was pretty pretty into all of the bad boys' installments I think. Yeah I went back and listened to that episode on my way to the theater this morning and on my way back from the theater this morning and like a little bit as we were getting ready to start so I mean you're on the record Stephen is saying you're fully in for the fourth installment when it comes out because at the time we did that review they had already announced that there would be a fourth one. Yeah I mean they the third one did like amazingly well it made like over 400 million on a 90 million dollar budget like it makes sense that they greenlit green another installment. Now they didn't know that the slap was gonna happen but still it makes sense. Nobody knew the slap was gonna happen neither of the participants nor the
