Welcome to the Low Carb MD Podcast. No one is beyond help. No one is beyond hope. Nothing said on the Low Carb MD Podcast is medical advice. Please consult your own doctor before making any lifestyle changes. Hello and welcome back to the Low Carb MD Podcast. Taro, what are we doing here, man? Are we changing tags? Yeah, we're super excited guys. Okay, we've been doing this. We just checked. We've been doing this for six years. We've been bringing you guys podcasts, bringing you guys inspirational stories, academics, doctors, people, everyday people who've gone through major changes. But we're excited about something new and this is going to be season two, episode one. And we're going to be taking a slight shift. And we wanted to let you guys all know about it. You know, as we start season two of the Low Carb MD Podcast, we're looking to share more patient and individual stories, those, those heart wrenching stories, like from episode 13, where we talked about food addiction or where we heard about. From Paolo or Talene or we heard about. You know, the most recent heart wrenching story. We heard two episodes ago with the husband and wife. You know, it's these stories that are leaving impacts on our listeners. And we want to continue to bring those stories out and have those testimonies come out. We, so season two, which we're excited to announce will be focusing more on telling those stories and more on bringing those testimonies out. I know, Brian, we talked that we'll still have some of those scientists and academics, you know, come back and, you know, tell us some of their updates and important, you know, news items and new papers as it come. But we want to go back to the individuals who've made huge life changes. So what do you think about that? Yeah, I think what we did is drifted away from what our original purpose, we wanted to be two doctors and say, let's kind of like the car guys like, let's see if we can fix this problem. If we can help this person longer or figure out what went wrong or what worked. And I think a lot of us in this community, we're hearing, go high fat, go high protein, do this, do that. And so many people are so confused by hearing so much conflicting evidence. So what we have to do is say, what is working for this person, right? What works because if we're going on a journey, we want to see people who are coming back from the journey will say, how far is it? How hard is it? How long does it take? And so we can learn from each other and those stories have impacted people more than anything. I've had more people come up to me and say, what about this guy who lost 400 pounds? What about this person? And I think it's important to do follow up because we say, okay, what are the long term like the people who remain successful? What did they have? And I've been looking a lot at this. How do we go from gathering information, right? And saying, I need to change my life and then figure out what course to take. And then the biggest thing is that we have to have that inertia to get us started. But then we're going to hit resistance along the way. You know, a body at rest stays at rest and a body in motion stays in motion. But unfortunately, you can have family, friends, other doctors who are saying what you're doing is wrong and people get knocked off course. And then once they get off course, how do we get them back on course to improve their lives? And I think that's one thing we have to talk more about. How do we do it?
