It's great to see you on this very warm, wonderful New Year's Eve morning. I hope that you had a great Christmas with family and friends, and if you traveled, that that was safe. I was worried that this Christmas vacation was gonna look more like Ebenezer Scrooge's diary from December 24th in the morning than December 25th in the morning. Because as I was preparing for this message, I was excited just to learn more about what joy comes from in Scripture and all those things and the weeks and stuff leading up to Christmas. Everything was growing great. My focus was on the Lord, I was just loving the study that I was getting to do, and then we started our Christmas vacation with these words, do you think we should go get stitches? Not so much fun. But it's amazing how God can bring joy and the sustaining power through God's word is just amazing that He can bring joy in any situation. And I hope that this morning as we reflect on the Lord's joy that our hearts are filled with joy as well. I bet you if we did one of those man on the street interviews, we would have very similar definitions for the word joy, no matter who you asked. But I wonder this question, if we change the question
