[music] Hello everybody and welcome to a special bonus episode of the spoiler warning podcast. I'm Christopher SchnazZ. And I'm Stephen Miller. And if you're joining us for the first time, the spoiler warning podcast is a weekly film review program. Each week on the show we're going to dive in to discuss and argue over the latest films coming to a theater near you, except for this week, which we are doing part two of Stephen's coverage of his time at Cannes. Stephen Miller, welcome back to the United States. Thanks. Good to be here. I've been back for a solid, I'm going to say like 18 hours at this point, and it feels great. Love being back in America. I've got my gun with me. I've got my freedom. All the things that I was missing. Are you going to be popping a melatonin by the end of this episode as well? I'm going to wait. I'm going to wait a little bit to pop a melly, but it's definitely going to happen tonight. I have ever since a few years ago when jetlag hit me so bad that I just went days without sleeping. In fact, I went days without sleeping until you and I attended a beer festival, which completely knocked me out. But ever since then, now, if I travel internationally for at least three days afterwards, I always just do melatonin, just to force my system to get back in the habit of wanting to fall asleep again. Well, it's good to have you back. We just completed a review of Furiosa and Mad Max Saga, and now you're going to try to complete the entire everything besides the first four days of the festival all in one go. But before we get started, Stephen, a few very important questions. How are the suits holding up? How are your tuxes doing? Suits are rough. I really thought this year I was not going to meet a tuxedo every day. I definitely had a plan of pivoting to the morning sessions and kind of doing fewer galas, but it didn't happen every single day involved a red carpet walk, which means all three suits got a workout for sure. And one of them, the pants are really loose. For some reason, I just didn't get them because I tried to get them retailer recently, but I must have forgotten that one or something. So there were only two pairs of suit pants that I wore for the whole two week affair. And yeah, it was tough. They're not looking good. They're not smelling good. I cannot recommend them. Though we talked before about how I was batching them back to back the same suit for a few days. The very last day when I attended the closing ceremony, I pivoted to wearing the nicest suit that I wore at the very beginning of the ceremony, like the ceremony one. And that felt great again. Like that smelled fine. So I don't know if it was airing it out or if it's just like the nicer seat breeds better than the really bad suit. I don't know. What was it actually smelling fine or had you acclimated to just your entire Airbnb smelled like those suits? Well, I should say it smelled better than the other two suits. Gotcha. Maybe that's the statement I'm comfortable making. I will also say though, the back pocket in all of the suit pants has been stretched out a bit because I have smuggled water bottles into every single screening in competition in this entire festival. I was successful. I never got caught even though they had this machine that I don't think was a metal detector. I don't know what it was, but it would like beep if something seemed off and they would have to like check me. And for some reason, it beeped on me every single time. Like no matter what I did, like I would take off my Apple watch, I would do whatever. It would always beat me. So I would always get manually checked and padded, but I just learned they never pat the back right pocket. Yeah, so I would just confidently walk in with with the water bottle in my back right pocket. And every single time, like it became a joke with the security guard where one of them would be like, Oh my gosh, you always get beeped and we'd be laughing. And the whole time I know I'm I'm smuggling. Now I know it's like, I'm not smuggling an alcohol, but it was like a like reusable bottle that could have been anything, right? Yeah. And so it would have, I every time I was afraid I was going to disappoint my new friend. If if I finally got caught, but it never happened. Uh, good times. So maybe I need to get those pockets tailored again. I feel like they've
