Any time I'm visiting Korea, I like to squeeze in a few podcast episodes and collab Asia here allows me to use the studio. And I'd like to bring together a lot of interesting friends doing some cool stuff out here in Seoul, including my most visited guest on my podcast. How many? This might be the sixth episode you've been on Jay. I'm probably the busiest guy you know, but it's like the most accessible. It's kind of weird. It's the beauty of you, bro. It's fucking weird. It's been it's only been a few months since you've been on the show.

And of course, this is a brand new friend. I've seen him on my algorithm for the past year or two, popping up and it kind of gives me a glimpse into Korean youth culture, what people are talking about on the streets, what people like, what shows they like, what type of music are they listening to, how they're dressed. He's out in the streets of Hongdae doing man on the street interviews. His name is Jerry and he goes by K Explorer. Outside. And he speaks better Korean than both of us here combined. Definitely 100%. How are you doing, Jerry? No, I'm doing fine. Thank you for having me. They got a very smooth voice. I think people when they hear this voice right now, it might like spark like a memory of them maybe coming across your content, you know, because that voice is kind of iconic to the content. Is it? Yeah, right. Also, I was saying before, it's like people are used to seeing your face and profile from the side and like looking at you straight on. I guess they'll probably be seeing you in profile too. Maybe turn to the side and then people will recognize you. Okay. Yeah, the multiple cameras. Well, I think first and foremost, people seeing your content and being in Korea, they noticed that you're not Korean and where are you from? I am from Nigeria. Nigeria. Yeah. And you've been here for seven years now. And when you came here for the first time, you did not speak any Korean? No, no. But I knew about a Korean culture, but like, yeah, I didn't speak any Korean. What compelled you to come to Korea? Oh, no. I just go like a free scholarship like from the government. So there could have been anywhere. Yeah. You could have been the J Explorer. Like they could have sent you to Japan and you're the J. Also, there was no like pre-interest in Korea. It just happened to be the country. Oh, no. Like my mother actually, she wasn't to Korean dramas. So I mean, like I just naturally joined her to like, you know, watch dramas,
