You gonna make it? You gonna make it? We got 28 parts, all right? So I've tracked it to the end, 28. We're gonna finish with. So we got after today six, including today, we got seven. It's a marathon, yeah? Be over a year by the time we get done with it. So it's been a great journey for me and it continues today with this very famous chapter, maybe the most famous chapter in all of the Bible. First Corinthians 13, the love chapter. That's the way you have to say it, by the way. It's the love chapter. Before we get into that though, I want to make sure we don't lose sight of the forest. What is First Corinthians there for? What's it there for? We got to go all the way back to the introduction to the book. Like all great introductions, Paul tees up what the main idea is of the whole thing in the introduction. You want to know First Corinthians about? You can commit this to memory. Sanctified in Christ called to be saints. Sanctified in Christ called to be saints. You have been sanctified in Christ. That is, we as Christians have been made holy. We've been made holy by the work of Christ, the life, death, resurrection of Jesus. When we put our faith in our trust, when we repent of sin and put faith and trust in him, God clothes us in his righteousness. We are holy in God's sight. Because we're holy in his sight, God calls us to be who we are, to live out who we are. Okay, you are my people.
