Hello everyone, welcome to Glory Room. I'm prophetess Lou. Hope you all are having a blessed day before we get started. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you. Thank you for life, help the strength. Thank you for loving us and taking care of us. Most of all, we thank you for saving our soul. Father God, we ask you right now to be with us. We ask you to help us through our new week that we're started. Father God, we can't do this week without you. Father God, we can only do it in your strength and we thank you for your strength. Father God, we ask you to bless the ones that are hearing and bless the ones that are reading it in Jesus name. Amen. So today's Sunday, we always have a new memory verse on Sunday are the seventh day according to how you're listening to it. But today's this week's memory verse is songs 94 and 11. The Lord knows people's thoughts. He knows they are worthless songs 94 and 11. The verse of the day is song 73 and 28. But for me is good to be near God. I have made the Lord God my refuge that I may tell all of your works subject drawing close to the pain. Christian truth, I'm going to say it and pause behind each one to give you opportunity to say it if you like. I'm drawing to him. I'm needing God. I'm loving. I'm mighty through God. The read time is eight minutes and 30 seconds. A couple weeks back, I was in severe pain in my shoulder and I prayed all day and all night for God to take away the pain. Then my arm got worse and the pain got more severe. I kept thinking, maybe I'm not saying you're right. Maybe I'm not using enough words. Maybe I'm not filled with emotion or maybe what my mom says. You're not holding your mouth right. But I did it. He didn't change the course he placed me on. I was just about to ask some God why and why this is happening. And I heard this voice say to say this to me. What what I wanted for you. This is what I wanted for you. I said to be in pain and he said no to being here in this moment seeking me. I was astonished because I wasn't always salt him through everything and even when I was tired. But I understood he wanted me to be right here right there. We're close to him. Sometimes we may pray and feel like our prayers are not being answered. We may even question why God hasn't changed our situation. But have we ever taken a step back to look at our hearts and see where God has us? We often use God as an option. Only turning to him when we need or in pain. But perhaps we allow he allowed us to go through these things to draw us closer to him. He wants us to rely on him daily. Not just when things go wrong. We need him to heal us and make the pain disappear. But he also we also need need. We also need he also needs us close to him. So when do we truly draw close to the father? Is it when we feel like we have nothing else to lose? Remember to call on him every day. Not just like not just in your time of need but because that is when we truly draw close to him. So on 73 and 28. But for me is good to be near God. I have made the Lord my fortress that I may tell all of your good works. David said it is good to be near God and to have him as a refuge as someone we can run to. And a lot of us don't have that but we don't have to wait until we are in pain to run to him. We don't have to wait until we are in desperate need. We can always have him whenever we want. But we must be willing to hear him and know. Did I want to hear this? That this is where he wanted me to be? Did I want to hear that I have to be in pain? But it made me smell because he wanted me close to him because sometimes we can feel rejected by friends and family but to know God wants to be near us. Regardless of what we do, what we do, it feels good. I wanted to be close to him and in his presence and I want to draw near him even when I am in pain. As the days drew past I got through the pain and as I drew closer, grew closer to him because he was what I needed and wanted most of all. He grew 7 and 25. Therefore, he is able once and forever to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. Drawing close to God is truly the most fantastic feeling in the world. It's almost hard to believe that a significant and amazing God will want to be near someone like me, someone like you. But the truth is, he desires to be close to everyone. He wants to hear our voice. Even in the midst of our busy lives, it's easy to get caught up in our daily routine and to make time for him. But when we do take time to draw close to God, it's a feeling like no other. It's a deep sense of peace and contentment knowing that the creator of the universe wants to hear about our day and be part of our lives. It's truly a beautiful thing and a beautiful feeling. He roots 11 and 6. Without faith, it isn't possible to please him for whoever would draw near to him, near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. He rewards them that seek him. I don't want riches. I've had money. It doesn't matter. I don't want success. I want more of him. And if he rewards me like that, that's something I need more than anything in this world. I have had love, but not love like him. His love is different. It doesn't leave change. We come less. If I say something or do something wrong, his love is the same throughout the day and I love that most of all about him. Can you believe he wants to be near and close to us? Can you believe that is what our life is about? He cares enough to hear it, not just me, but all of us. I would tell all his words. We can easily run to him about everything when we make God our refuge. I think in the back of my mind, I was going through that pain. I expected him to do something extraordinary. And what he needed me to do was cast that pain and cast that hurt and cast that, cast my life upon him because the word says to cast your cares upon him after all he sees us through. And this is an everyday thing, not a once in a while thing, but an all the time type of thing. I've had moments in my life when I wanted him to do things out of the realm of his, out of the realm of his own will. Still, I didn't understand that sometimes he wants us to go through the pain. He wants us to go through the struggle, but we must do it with him and his strength. Paul tells us that he says no matter what I've been through, I do this because I can, I can do the strength of God. Today, we talked about the strength of God and how we must do things in his strength and how we must go through because of his will for us. Sometimes life can be filled with so much because he's waiting for us to place our emotions in his hands, but if we aren't careful, we lose touch with who he is. He's everything. He's our father. Let's get back to being in touch with him. Psalms 27 and 4. One thing that, one thing I have asked for a Lord that that will I seek after and that I may dwell on the house of the Lord, all the days of my life to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to acquire his temple. Have you sought after him? I'll always discuss seeking him on my podcast and my devotional because it's the key to a healthy relationship with growing in him. It's easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and forgetting about seeking God, but do you realize that seeking him can make that journey much smoother? Our challenge comes easier to bear when we have God by our side. Just like David who was constantly on the run from King Saul, we may feel scared and overwhelmed at times, but we can take comfort in the knowing that God is with us through those difficult moments. We may not always understand why God allows certain things to happen, but I truly believe these experiences are meant to build our character and make us stronger. When the enemy attacks he's trying to weaken us, but instead of letting his attacks make us falter, let's allow them to draw us closer to God. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for everything. We ask you to help us seek you through our tough times. Lord, give us strength. They help us through our day. Lord, we are so sorry for what we have done. Lord, we give you our day and time. And we ask you to help us to draw closer to you. Father, our lives belong to you. We give you our heart to mold and change in Jesus' name. Amen. Reference, 1 Timothy 2 and 8. I desire that, then, that in every place the men should pray. With lifting holy hands without anger or corolling, 1 Timothy 2 and 8, Jeremiah 29, 13, you will seek me and find me, and will you seek me with your whole heart. Romans 3, 23, for all to have sin and come short of the glory of God, Romans 3, 23. Father, reading, Proverbs 2, Psalms 118, Luke 3, 1 Thessalonians 5, Ezekiel 45. This ends drawing close through the pain. I pray you all have a blessed day. Remember Jesus loves you. I love you too. Remember to like, subscribe, and follow on your platform.
