Coffee & Geography

Coffee & Geography S01E23 Dan Raven-Ellison (UK)

Kit talks to Dan Raven-Ellison over some Red Label tea, chatting about capturing dangerous animals, playing hide and seek, creating the Slow Ways network, amongst other things!

Dan uses ‘guerrilla geography’ to challenge himself and others to think differently about the world. He does this through campaigns, collaborations, and films - ranging from founding the London National Park City to showing what the UK looks like from above in 100 seconds.

Kit's "Slow Ways" poem:

Trudging onward from the node of Norwich

 Wymnor, Mulnor, Tavnor

While Yarven strikes across the Isle of Wight

Alone Browhi walks the Arran shore

Be these giants of old and legend

 That strode and claimed terrain?

No, the likes of Solhen, Shiban & Salfor

 Are paths across our domain
