Just Dumb Enough Podcast

Surviving Criticism with Bill Lee-Emery

What is the difference between who you are and what you do?  If criticism blurs the line between feedback and insult, or if you lay awake at night thinking of all your mistakes like me, you are handling it wrong. I'm your host, Colton Petry and my guest today, Bill Lee-Emery, has been a therapist, author, and public speaker for over thirty years. His newest book (or as I now prefer Resilience Guide) "How To Be Bulletproof From Criticism" addresses the overly harsh things we do and say to ourselves with the criticism or feedback that we receive from the world around us, and what we can do to move passed that feeling. Apologies if this episode skips just a little, we are chatting through a program over Wi-Fi and across the world. Technology isn't perfect but I've tried to fix it the best I can. Share this show with other people and give it a review if you can. Email if you have question, guest/topic suggestions or anything else on your mind. DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com I've got some things going on outside work and the show that are consuming my time. I'm not getting into it, I just want people to know in case it slows me down here. Lastly we've got the rankings: 1. the United States, with Oklahoma barely holding on as top state against Oregon. 2. the United Kingdom 3. Mexico, quickly working it's way up from number 5 last week. 4. Canada 5. France
