Let's get on with our guest now everybody welcome to the show Adam Curl, let's go to 2015. This is a bit controversial Adam Curl show 1726 Donald Trump G to grab Brian Bishop December 18 2015 There's like a hour-long Donald Trump interview book promo, and then there's the actual ace awards The whole year itself Gina starting in 2015 What do you remember about that like I feel it first episode of Patton Oswalt and the whole episode? I always describe as feeling sweaty not you, but I felt like the studio wasn't ready people just getting back from vacation I think you even have like a like red cheeks in the picture like it's overheating in the studio It just it felt like it wasn't it didn't launch the way you probably wanted to or maybe I'm wrong Yeah, I'm you're probably right. Whatever. Whatever you read. I again have no memory of any of this Explanation about Allison's departure then Patton came on Fairly solid Patton interview not you're not the best one he's ever done good enough Gina's no good job Gina already fill in for Allison several times and she'd filled in multiple other times previous to that too She'd never been in the running for the job per se like she wasn't up for it when Allison was and she wasn't up for the radio days Though she worked at the radio station as like an underling on Conway and Whitman with Randy Wang So she was there she wanted the job. It wasn't really the running for it This is the first time she's on the air 2015 people are a little bit shocked tons of reactions people get really upset There's a little bit of controversy Then they come back you have to like give more reasons why you decided to change cast members Without getting too much into all of it. Do you remember like the stress? Did you feel anything bad about like everybody freaking out on social media or did you just let it blow over your back? No, I mean a little bit I you know, I just didn't want to work with Allison anymore, so That for me was about The long and the short of it like I didn't really want to go to work With somebody that I want to work with but it wasn't even really that personal I kind of felt the same way about ton of doogee. I just didn't really want to work with them Yeah, it wasn't personal you asked me about Allison's first child being born when we were to barbecue rest on like 2016 So if it was personally you wouldn't be interested in things like that I didn't I yeah, it was I mean, it's personal to the extent that you don't want to work with them But it's not personal that you think they're a bad person Gotcha. So then Donald Trump came on for the ace awards. They paired the episode with the interview It's never been done before I don't think people really cared at the time. It wasn't as big of a deal as well Probably would have been a year or two later. Do you remember anything about that interview with Trump? Lots of book promo but always I think he's I think he was selling the book and I remember having Listen to the book of read to listen to the audio book or something. You had the privilege to do so Adam
