Maternal Dilemma: Exploring the HUGE Impact of Motherhood on Careers Frances Cassidy has worked within Financial services for the whole of her 20 year career. Spanning lender and intermediary markets within retail, property, insurance and most recently specialist and mainstream lending. She currently has a senior leadership role with Barclays UK and Kensington Mortgages as Head of Mortgage Intermediary Partnerships. Her experience includes building and leading diverse teams in predominantly B2B sales and relationship environments. She specialises in building and executing commercial propositions and embedding strategic change. She prides herself on her professionalism, collaboration and strong work ethic. Frances enjoys spending her free time with her two young children, husband, family and friends. Recently becoming a mentor, Frances has found her experience of becoming a mother and returning to full time work has helped other women in similar situations. To deal with the challenges of balancing family and work life, dealing with ‘mum guilt’ and performing to your maximum. Any other free time they have, Frances and her husband spend their time in property development, Anything from their family home to a new build housing site. This experience has provided great insight to the alternative side of the housebuilding and property sector.
