The Money Honey was an accident - I nearly binned the idea due to fear of what people might think
Does the fear of what others might think every stop you from doing something magical? Does imposter syndrome paralyse you from actually taking action?
This was me last summer when I was rebranding from The Content Hive to Manuka Media and my personal brand persona was born: The Money Honey.
I wasn't convinced. I told the graphic designer and brand strategist to bin it. I was too embarrassed to launch into the financial world with this name because I thought people would other find me "cute", or "too girly" or SEXY. I didn't want people to sexualise or ridicule this name.
That's why I DID IT ANYWAY.
I had to reconnect with my values. My goals. My vision.
I had to reconnect with the purpose. WHY AM I DOING THIS? I asked myself. And that's why I had to get over myself, out of my own way and start this podcast otherwise I would be letting you down.
