- All right, well, we are, I'm Tom and lead pastor here at Coast, super glad you're with us. And we are continuing, if you're new or visiting, we're continuing our series, Made for Adventure, Life as a Journey with God. And today, we talked a lot about the good parts of being on the road of adventure, of all the cool things that God has for us. But the Bible is very clear that the road's dangerous. Getting out outside of our comfort zone is dangerous. And one of the reasons it can be dangerous is 'cause our lives might be on the wrong path. We might be set on the wrong path. We might be going the wrong way. I almost included the video. Do you remember a dumb and dumber, that movie from 1994? If you don't, it's two guys who are really, really stupid. And one of them, he wants to go to Aspen, Colorado. And so they get in a van and he's gonna drive him to Aspen. This is Lloyd, his buddy Harry falls asleep. And so Lloyd's driving. And he gets distracted. He misses the turn off for Aspen. And he goes six hours past Aspen into like, I don't know if you've been, I don't know how aware you are of our country, but actually East of Colorado, and then West of the East Coast, there's just a whole bunch of America that no one's ever been to. And we call it fly over country. And some of you have escaped and we're glad you're here. But he drives deeply into fly over country. His buddy Harry wakes up and he's like, what, I expect the Rocky Mountains to be mountains and rock here and realizes, oh my gosh, we have been going the wrong way for six hours. And they have this explosion and it looks like everything's falling apart. But the good news is, the good news is, once they realize they've been going the wrong way, new possibilities open up. And so we're gonna see that today in our text. So let's jump into Acts nine. And I'll kind of bring some stuff out here. We're gonna kind of go through it piece by piece. But meanwhile, Saul. Saul, this is the New Testament. This is after Jesus has been raised from the dead.
