- Yeah, that song did definitely hit me. Noah, you sang it. Noah sang it up at camp and the spirit fell in a big way. And I think about the lyrics of that song. It just makes me think how that should be our goal, right? Our goal to come to the Father with nothing else. No blessing that we need just wanting to be in His presence. And it just makes me think like, isn't that a parent's dream that their kids would come to them, would call them when they moved out with no other intention other than just wanting to hear their voice, wanting to connect with their parents. I think that posture is something that we strive for, but oftentimes it becomes really difficult because of how difficult the world is and the things happening in our lives that are creating a distance between us and God and are distracting us in such a powerful way that sometimes it's like we need help. Maybe you made an awful decision, you face immediate regret and you don't know what to do. You don't know how to handle it, you don't know your next steps forward. Now imagine when that happens, most of us have someone in particular that we call. Someone that we turn to right away because in that moment no one else will do. Maybe it's a parent, maybe it's a friend, a family member, a sibling. But chances are there's speed dial, we have speed dial for a reason. And we call that person, and I guess my question is when you desperately need someone and no one else can provide what you need, whether it's comfort, whether it's hope, peace. If you desperately need to reach someone, my guess is you wouldn't call them once, let it ring twice and then hang up and say, I guess they're not there. My guess is you'd call them, let it ring, leave a voicemail, call them again, let it ring, leave a voicemail. To the point where that call log is just
