[Music] Thursday, June 5th [Music] Big Boom Nation was shaking, Richy lands are checking in for another edition of The Flexintens. NBA Finals tips off tonight, cats on each side. And let's get into it. Most of our cats are in Lexington, just touched down yesterday, Jayden Quayton's Reese Potter, Malachi Moreno, Jaylen Lowe, I mean. Everything's coming together, we got the NBA coming to an end, and then that's when we transition. Into college basketball once again. Now, obviously it's no secret. Thunder are huge favorites for this NBA Finals. Mine is 750 to be exact. I'm not going to act like a genius for dropping my Oklahoma City. Thunder prediction to win it all, however, let's preview this game. These are the two best teams since January record-wise. First and second in pace per game, and both of these teams play great defense. Oklahoma City, this is the best defensive team since 2004, and honestly, I think they are even better at defense than the 04 Pistons. Think how long ago that was, 2004? 2004? Your boy was eight years old, 2004. However, I still have memories from that NBA Finals. I actually enjoyed watching the Pistons. I think perhaps it was because Richard Hamilton was on the team. He was the only pro athlete named Richard at the time that was relevant, that was, you know, a game changer, a force to be reckoned with. So I think that's kind of why I mess with the Pistons at that time, but I do have memory from it. But anyways, Oklahoma City, they are in midst of starting a dynasty, and this is no secret. They have all the picks. They have the young talent. They have everyone bought in and convinced that their role is appropriate. There are no ego issues on this team. There are no guys that are trying to get up a shot just because they get 10 minutes a game. This team is all bought in from top to bottom, front office to the staff. This team has been put together for a dynasty, and it's scary what they can do in the future. They're only going to get better. All of these guys are young. All of these guys are promising, and they have all the draft capital to make a crazy move on top of already being a contender this year without doing anything. Now, obviously, majority of their team has been drafted by Sam Presti and Oklahoma City. However, they traded for Shay, and similar to Indiana, they traded for Tyreys Halberin. It's not very often where both teams, best players, best floor generals are both not drafted from the franchise they're representing in the finals. Cool storyline. A lot of people are talking how this NBA finals will be a snooze fest, it's small markets, etc. I think this will be a great series, and if Indiana is able to steal a game in Oklahoma City, it's going to be a movie. It's going to be a great series, but at the same time, I just think that Ocecia has too many horses. Tyreys Halberin is too inconsistent, and Pascal Siacom, I mean, he showed out in Game 6 vs. New York, but I really don't know how often he's really going to do this. Besides those two, it's just a bunch of role players. Oklahoma City has stated last episode, just has everything in comparison to Indiana. They got two all-defensive team players, they got the MVP, they got Chet, who is a future all-star. I mean, our boy, Case of Wallace, is going to be a huge factor for this game, and I'm really looking forward to watching the defense. I do see these teams really going at it. I don't think the over-under is something you should touch. It's definitely possible for the over-to-hip at the same time. Both teams are so strong defensively, with defensive mind coaches.
