Do you ever feel more loved by the people you know the least?
Do you give so much of yourself to other people and you feel like you bring
their dreams and visions to pass, but when you have one of your own,
they’re nowhere to be found?
Some people don’t come into your life to love you, they come into your life
to use you.
They don’t come to bring to your life, they come to take from it.
They don’t see you as a person, they see you as an opportunity.
They don’t love you for you, they love you for what they can take from you.
They’re not loyal to you; they’re loyal to the benefits that come from being
with you.
That’s why they never show up, no matter how many times you showed up
for them.
That’s why they’ll never help, no matter how many times you help them.
Stop breaking your back for people who clearly never had yours’!
Stop taking punches for people who wouldn’t take a punch for you.
Stop keeping people in your boat who aren’t rowing with you.
If they’re not being supportive, they shouldn’t be important
BUT
Don’t let their lack of support become your lack of belief
Get around people who want to POUR INTO your cup, not just drink from it.
Thanks for listening to the V1 Church Podcast. This is Mike Signorelli, the co-lead pastor of V1. And listen, we all have relationships in our life that we cut off and feel guilty about or relationships that we know we need to end, but it's just there's so much emotionally invested in it. I mean, isn't it funny that we will cut a relationship off and feel bad about it even though they handed us the scissors? Or we will break our back for people who clearly never had ours? If you're feeling that this season, I want you to jump into this episode. I believe it's for you. So without further ado, here it is. Okay, for everyone who's visiting, first of all, my name's Pastor Mike and I'm the lead pastor here at V1 Church and I want to welcome you. We got a full house today. We've got people on the overflow auditorium, but something cool was happening during service. And I try to give 100% unadulterated attention to what's happening and experience the room. But I also had some notifications going off and I thought this was cool. So I want to do something that you got to get real rowdy and get loud so these microphones pick you up for it, but we actually have a live stream that's going right now on Facebook. And I was getting DMs on my Instagram and this was so cool. So I want to shout out some people out because this is the first Sunday that this actually has happened. So first of all, can we all welcome Sandeep from India who's watching live right now? Sandeep actually messaged me, DM me and said, I started watching your preaching clips and then that led to the live stream and I'm watching live right now from India. Can we welcome Alice who's watching from Uganda, Africa? What's up? She hit me up in the DMs right now and said that she is watching from Uganda and that crazy. This name I'm about to, I have no idea how to say your name, please forgive me. It looks like Ziamo from Peru is watching live right now. You just have to phonetically DM me how to say your name. I apologize. But Mico de Sonja is Spanish. That was good enough, right? For a white guy was good enough. Always we want to welcome Mariah from Kentucky and actually we have a woman named Laura who's watching from Long Island right now. I just want, and actually we have a guy who's the second time ever attending V1 church. He came in to look for a seat and didn't find one and I saw him in the hallway. He's in the overflow auditorium right now. Can we all welcome Will in the overflow auditorium? Second time. That was fun. All right, let's pray this thing out and go to Chipotle. Everyone who said, amen, you must leave now. Everyone who shouted, get out, get out. That's so cool. What the internet is affording people is an opportunity to get into this room right now with us and it's just so cool seeing all your faces and names, the real people living
