So a new girl transfers into Rebecca's high school and all girls school and it took a little while for everybody to figure her out Because she transferred in from public school actually from one of the best public schools in the city But still in their eyes. She like had a like a lot of background and so when she came here People thought she's nothing. She's another Public school kid. Oh that's like oh, she's just like She's ghetto She's ghetto meaning she's from public school Just the style because Does she dress ghetto at first when she first came there ghetto and ghetto hoochie mama Ghetto hoochie mama I Have to admit I did not know exactly what she meant by that So helpfully Rebecca searched her brain for another phrase to explain it um Booty house girl You know house music is yeah, of course um she was the kind of girl who was all into booty house music Fact is there are so many ways of being a teenage girl and you can switch from one to another Like one friend of Rebecca's you started high school with blonde hair blue eyes. She started with the alternative preppy girls gap closed straight gap banana Republic khakis the crew neck sweaters and Had she talked when she was alternative with no Accent no inflection on any certain she was just kind of like yeah, dude. Yeah, and um that year that was freshman year and then She went to the Spanish crew after the latinas and she dressed in um big gold earrings and like dark real dark lipstick like almost black and The real thick eyeliner and then she started saying It should be talking to you and she says but then she wouldn't say but anymore She'd say petal and that's Spanish and she'll go. Oh Mira. Mira. You know me look Yeah, and she got more and more into it where she'd say instead of look at that fine guy Oh, look at that poppy over there That was all of sophomore year junior year she was Kind of getting like well, we called it ghetto style because all of a sudden she was dressing with the big baggy pants windbreakers Nike shirts big gold chains and If she wanted to tell you so she got excited she gets real excited and okay, she came up to me one day and she's oh Girl we was driving in the car. We saw this guy. He was fine and he looked my way and I was like what's up, baby and Wow and and she got real into it though smacking her lips and oh, and She gets hyper she's slamming her hands Yeah, yeah, and so is her black year basically. I think Now senior year that girl is a clueless girl clueless meaning Shacks and dresses like the characters in the movie and the TV show clueless Stack shoes polyester bell bottoms retro 70s style You know, it is hard to imagine many boys changing style this quickly this willfully this many times It is very very girl Transforming yourself head to toe every year because you can and Because you're expected to be that obsessed with how you look So sort of record we're thinking about calling this week show I enjoy being a girl sort of and I just want to ask you Have any thoughts on that theme
