(upbeat music) - Hello everyone and welcome to Food Safety Matters, the podcast for Food Safety Professionals. I'm Stacey Hochison, publisher of Food Safety Magazine, and I'm joined by my co-hosts, Adrienne Bloom, our editorial director, and Bob Ferguson, president of Strategic Consulting, and a special treat today, Bailey Henderson, our digital editor. Wow, it's so great to be with you guys again. We're coming back together again after being, IRL in person at the Food Safety Summit last week, which was just amazing. - It's a lot of fun. - Yeah, it was a great time. It was so fun to see everybody in person, and spend a week with so many great colleagues, and friends, and, you know, I mean, I think my biggest takeaway from the week was just two big ideas, energy and community. I mean, both were so palpable at the summit, and you could feel and see them everywhere, whether it was during the session Q&As, or the networking breaks, or all the big crowds at the general sessions, or the evening receptions, which were so fun. I mean, everybody was just really excited about learning and talking together, and supporting Food Safety together. That was the big takeaway for me, was you could just really feel that energy, and that enthusiasm about the Food Safety community through those halls of the conference center. - Yeah, and, of course, I also want to start us off by thanking our chair, Gillian Kelleher, and our incredible Educational Advisory Board. I mean, oh my God, I want to mention every single one of them, but I can't 'cause, well, we have a really big board. - Several dozen of them. - Yeah, it's crazy. Rockstars, one and all, and man, oh man, did they deliver. They brought together the most knowledgeable presenters on the most pertinent subjects, and presented it all in the most engaging way, and that brings into the attendees. I mean, from the first workshop to the closing session, people were engaged, and you could just feel it.
