Hexcrawl 14 - Necrobrewers of Urogalan, Tuskgutter, and an Ammarindar Outpost

Thronor leads Umgurn, Fjori, Floki, and Jhank 'northlefterly' to investigate the Black Dog Brewery, which is run by shady halfling necromancer Losser Mirklav (formerly of Waterdeep) and a bunch of necromonks of Urogalan. He won't show them the brewing operation itself presumably because there are some undead involved, but the party leaves them in peace. They travel north to find the lair of the giant boar Tuskgutter and make fairly quick work of it, then transport most of the giant pig back to the farmstead.  Setting out for the Southwood once more, they make for the ruins of an outpost of Ammarindar they've seen in the forest, only to find that the trees are blackened and dead nearby. The Dewdrop Man gives Thronor some advice and some boggards try to raid the camp. The party befriends some ex-bandits of the Stag Lord living in part of the ruins and together they open the locked doors, first to a black pudding that nearly kills several party members, then to zombies, skeletons, and a dwarven priest turned wight! Leaving part of the ruins for another time, they split the loot they've found with the bandits and head for home.
