[music] It's the Bob and Tom show! [music] This season, in everything you see, Christmas time is a time for joy. But that's not the case for me. [music] The pain began on Christmas even 1988. The office party had begun and I was feeling great. My boss walked in, "Hey, what is that?" A bonus in his hand. Instead he gave me severance pay and said that I was canned. [music] I went down to drown my sorrows at the corner bar. A side guy dressed up in Santa Claus breaking and stealing my car. I ran out screaming to the street, I tried to make him stop. But I forgot to pay my tab and was handcuffed by the cops. [music] I hate Christmas and everything about it from the slave house through the tinsel on the trees. I hate Christmas, there is no doubt about it. Don't ask me about Christmas, please. All I have are bad memories. [music] I paid my bail, I rented a car, then I was on my way. Still clinging to the spirit of this happy holiday. Through all the falling snow, I didn't see the light was red. I spent the next three hours getting stitches in my head. [music] I walked for hours through ice and snow. My feet frozen to the bone. And just as I was losing hope, I saw my home sweet home. The fire light through the window glowed. This nightmare had come to an end. As I opened the door, I saw my wife, my best friend. [music] I hate Christmas and everything about it from the slave house through the tinsel on the trees. I hate Christmas, there is no doubt about it. Don't ask me about Christmas, please. All I have are bad memories. [music] At Christmastime, most people see presents beneath the tree. But I just see that bastard's arias. And my wife smiling back at me. Merry Christmas. [music] Good morning. Hello. From coast to coast, it's the moment of show.
