Good evening. Welcome to my step at night. It is 7.15 p.m. on a throwback Thursday. I hope all is well wherever you are in the world. I'm coming on for the first time today. I had an audio rant this morning. So this is going to be my one and done for the night. I'm going to try to move through these things pretty quickly because I want to jump on a call regarding Angie Nixon. So I got about 15 minutes so let's go ahead and not waste any time. Feel remnants from Hurricane. Here we go. We go to my tent. This is my handy dandy notebook. Y'all have to excuse me. I refuse to get on here and I'm not going to call it Isaiah because that's not the name. He's sorry. He's sorry. And here locally if you need assistance with debris clean up mainly elderly or if you're disabled you need to contact rebuild bay. They might be able to help you out. So you need to give them a call. A lot of residents in Pensacola is that somewhere is FEMA and people who have called the city of some have been told the dollar amount as far as the damage wasn't enough. I can remember that they had some tornadoes or a tornado snake through when I worked for 211 and that was something that was put out and you did not see patronus nor the governor doing walkthrough and people had lost their roofs, serious damage, trees, whatnot and they were nowhere to be found. The education commissioner threatened over the school opening Santa Rosa school board voted the other night to keep the school closed and let the kids return on Monday since they kept getting pushed back. They were supposed to have went back yesterday, didn't was today and like somebody said okay we're already at Thursday or Friday. Just let the kids stay out for the for the week and he threatened. He said the workers were just lazy and didn't want to go back to work and he threatened to use the Florida Highway Patrol to break down doors. Now when the governor was asked about this he was like I have no control over it. We wanted the schools reopened and we would they need to help clean and doing clean up and we went to the schools they were locked. You have people not only have the students and their families had their lives turned upside down. People act like that the people who work in the school, the teachers, the aides, the parents, the lunch ladies like they don't have families and go through this stuff too. And some people probably evacuated okay it was top photography. Why didn't you initially give the people you order the schools open on Wednesday. I heard it as well as everybody else. What Santa Rosa was like we didn't have one million dollars northwest Florida tourism recovery after Hurricane Michael. Now I'm telling you about people with damage to their homes, people who lost all their food because the refrigerator what the power was off for days at a time. And they are concerned about one million dollars in a fund to help tourism. Yes I know it was damage on Columbia. Yes I know Destin was damaged as well as hotels out there. Tourism should not even be a concern right now. A guy posted on Facebook that he was going to give free haircuts to the lineman and he was calling other barbers if they wanted to link up with him. The lineman were stationed at Pensacola Fairgrounds so I would just look on on Facebook to see if he made another post or whatnot but I thought that was cool. When Pichonas over in his district at Scambiot County even though he's a Panama City boy was asked about ICE being over there trying to detain workers that was doing a roof at the Grand Marlin on PCB and he knew nothing. He said he was just trying to make sure the trains left the station on time. I mean I don't know if that was a figure of speech. They don't have trains over there in Pichola and he was somebody he was a concern with getting the power back on. Well it was quite a few people that were still without power. I don't know what 90% the governor was talking about but it wasn't 90% of his Scambiot nor Santa Rosa. So I found it funny. Oh he wanted to squirm. You knew. I guarantee you had a you had a conversation or you might have even called. I just don't understand why would they sit up there and have them. People are trying to help people legitimately with their roofs and whatnot and you were bottom workers and the workers were smart. They did not come down activists and some other people went out there when they was called out that they were immigration. They jumped in their calls and left and they said the guys left as well and they're going to be working but then they won't be working there. And the Graham Marlon said they've dealt with that particular company for a long long time. So basically what they're saying is that we ain't trying to go there with
