It's very odd. - It is, there's a parasocial relationship thing there that's a little off-putting it first. I remember, I had a long time ago, I got a notification, I was being followed on Instagram by Joel McHale. And I was like, so weak, like text in my family. And then like a couple weeks later, I got a message from him, he was like, "Hey man, big fan, love your stuff, we gotta hang out sometime." And I was like, all right, cool. - He's a really nice guy. - He's incredible, he's a wonderful guy, I got a lovely family and he was coming out to Salt Lake City to do Fan X a couple years ago, which is our version of Comic Con. And I was like, "Hey, let's do dinner." - Oh yeah, you're a giant comic freak. - I am, yeah. And he, I was like, "Let's do dinner." He's like, "It's a date, but I'm a, what did he call himself?" An arrogant foodie, so he was like, "So I gotta pick the restaurant." But he's like, "Let's get on the phone and chat for a minute." And I called him, he picked up the phone and he's like, "Dan McClellan, Joel McHale." He's like, "This is so weird talking to you." I was like, "Joel, I promise you it's a lot weirder for me." So I know exactly what that's like. - It's very odd. I try to give people as much grace as possible when they meet me because I've probably been in their head more than headphones and shit for thousands of, it's odd. It's odd for me, so I'm sure it's odd for other people too. - And I'm kind of like, I don't even recall if I'm proud of everything I've ever said, but so I don't know what kind of impression
