Welcome to my special 175th EPISODE!

This is also my very first special roundtable interview!  I could not have had two better than Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Will Cole as my first guests!  These roundtables are a gathering of the most brilliant and impactful minds, coming together to offer deep thoughts and insights of the most discussed aspects of health, wellness and faith!  These roundtables will be continuing as special episodes each month to continue to do God's work in bringing as many of us together to make the biggest impact possible!!  ENJOY!!

For years, I thought that if I ate right, trained hard, stayed disciplined, and took care of my body, I was doing everything I needed to stay healthy.

But I've learned that being healthy on the outside doesn't always mean everything is healthy on the inside.

My father passed away from a heart attack at just 59 years old. And despite everything I've done to take care of myself, I recently discovered that I have elevated Lp(a) levels and plaque in my arteries.

That was a wake-up call.

It made me realize just how much can be happening inside our bodies without us ever knowing it.

That's why this conversation with Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Will Cole was so important to me.

Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Will Cole are leading voices in functional medicine, bestselling authors, and longtime advocates for looking beyond symptoms to understand the underlying factors affecting our health.

Together, they've written Heal Your Cells, a book exploring how cellular health, inflammation, metabolism, and lifestyle may influence chronic disease and the aging process.

We talked about how our organs can age faster than our bodies, the hidden risks of heart disease, and how stress and trauma affect our health.

One of the most meaningful parts for me was discussing faith and how true health goes beyond the physical. It's about caring for our minds, bodies, and our relationship with God.

And it made me wonder:

What if the biggest threats to our health are the things we can't see or feel until it's too late?

In This Episode, We Talk About:

■ Cellular health, mitochondria, and chronic disease
■ The blood markers that may reveal problems before symptoms appear
■ Insulin resistance, inflammation, and metabolic health
■ How stress, childhood trauma, and the nervous system affect the body
■ The connection between faith, emotional healing, and physical health
■ Gut health, exercise, and the importance of personalized nutrition
■ Why looking healthy doesn't always mean being healthy

about 22 million Americans have one organ aging more rapidly than other organs. If the heart cells were aging more rapidly, you were at over a 200% increased risk of a heart attack stroke, heart failure. I had a high LP little A, I found plaque and I was supposed to be the epitome of walking hell. My dad had a heart attack when he was 59. I didn't see that coming. 20 years ago, 99% of doctors would say you cannot reverse type 2 diabetes. I would get phone calls saying I was going to kill people. How dare you? Total cholesterol by itself. It's like flipping the coin. It's about 50% of people who have heart attacks and strokes have normal to low cholesterol. I'll sleep when I die and I used to kind of live by this all gas, no breaks, never rest. You will die a lot sooner without sleep because you're going to run yourself into the ground. Onlyness, that's a whole another category, but I was shown to take someone 14 years off someone's life. It's not mind and body spirit. It's mind, body and God and that connection that I have found to align full health people that had a regular faith practice. 33% decreased risk of all cause mortality over 16 year period. There are really two hormones for the most part that I think are the ones we want to pay attention to the most. It's alright everybody. Welcome to the round table. This is a discussion that we are going to have on everything about today's health and wellness scenario. I am pleasured here to be with Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Will Cole. We are going to bring you the very best insights that we have. There's going to be some different opinions and thoughts we're going to compare. We're going to contrast and we are going to do our very, very best to bring you the best guide that we can to health and wellness. So without further ado, my friends, Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Will Cole. Thanks for having us. Thanks for having us. Yeah. So hey, so excited to be here today and excited to jump into cellular medicine. I really believe that's the future of medicine. I know we've got Dr. Will Cole here. Good friend of mine as well. And him and I co-authored a book recently diving into how do you fix your energy? How do you reverse autoimmune disease? How do you reverse the reversible when today a lot of doctors would say it can't be done? Well, today we're going to walk you through how to heal yourselves. We're going to really dive into again, what is cellular medicine? What is the mitochondria? How do we fix that? And one of the things I know that I've seen in practice is conditions like hypothyroidism, perimenopause and menopause, infertility, low testosterone and men. A lot of times these are cellular issues. And there are all natural solutions to these that we can fix a lot of these issues with diet, herbs, advanced therapies, and so much more. Yeah. So we're going to dive into certain questions today when it comes to cellular health and recovery. But we're going to cover the basis on different aspects that I find will and Josh to excel at that I want to get the intuition on. So first things first, you guys just co-authored one of the most amazing books that I've ever read. I had the blessing of getting an early read on it. And so the book is called Heal Your Cells, correct? Yeah. And so I would like to dive into cellular health today first, because what I have found and admittedly science was my least favorite subject my entire life till about two years ago, and I have enthralled myself in cellular health. Now I want to know from both of you, when you're looking at total health and you're analyzing people and you're looking for things that may be going wrong, correct me if I'm wrong, but is the cellular side of the very most important part of health that we need to tackle first and look at when it comes to someone's health? Yeah, I think, look, this topic is without a doubt the root cause of why we're facing such an epidemic rise of chronic health problems. And when you look at it, I see a lot of people telehealth patients that have autoimmunity specifically, okay? And it's easy to see with autoimmunity when the immune system is attacking certain parts of the body. Mainstream medicine, conventional medicine is looking at organs oftentimes, right? The immune system's attacking the thyroid, it's Hashimoto's disease, or it's attacking the gut, it's all sort of colitis in Crohn's or the myelin sheath and the nervous system, the brain, it's MS, right? And even if it's not auto immune, inflammation is really the commonality between just about every health problem. But Mainstream medicine is largely looking at organs, systems, really what it is, is actual cellular dysfunction that's going on here. So they're dealing with a downstream macro
