THE BEDROCK OF LOVE - REV. MRS. JOSEPHINE PEARL FOSU-KWAKYE
You are welcome to the podcast of Dominion Chapel International, the special place we are a church that believes in pure worship for an adulterated word and family. We are enlightened as you listen to this message. As we have been told as we know, for the rest of the year we are looking at the broad subject of wisdom for living. That we shall also declare to us that this month we have been looking at the subject of the will of God and so many teachings have come across your way on sending this subject of the will of God. But now you know what the will of God is or what the will is and you know how to position yourself. You know what you stand to gain when you work in the will of God, Alleluia. And today I want to bring a very very important, as a matter of fact, that is the basis, the foundation, the platform, not just for us, working in God's will, but for our relationship with Him in totality and not just our relationship with Him, but also our relationship with one another. Praise the Lord. For most especially, God has demonstrated to us this very fundamental thing that is not just equality or attribute of it, but is actually a speciality. Praise the Lord. If I ask the question here now, how many of you would want favor, more life's favor? Everybody likes favor. But do you know that favor must be quoted the way you called a woman to marry her? That's why you must have to call it favor. Praise the Lord. But I'm bringing you the subject of favor from, and not that dimension, from its roots. And so this morning by the rest of God, I will be talking about the bedrock of life, the bedrock of life, there are many gods, but there is only one god. It sounds like a paradox, right? There are many gods, but among the many gods there is just one god. And the greatest distinguishing factor between this one god and the other petit, petit, petit god-like, seeming god-like, you know, deities or whatever, is this factor of love. Love is what makes God, makes God to stand out. God has made him to have no competition. Because of love, God is incomparable. Why? Because love is the most formidable force on earth, formidable. It is the strongest force on earth, love is uncomfortable, love is invincible, love is all defeatable, whatever you do against love is a waste of time. Jesus said you cannot do anything against the truth but for the truth. And the truth is God is love, God is not loving, God does not have love, God is love. He is embodiment of love, and in his love and kindness and mercy, he has decided to base our relationship with him on this very important ingredient, this important person who he is, love. He has the power, he has the capacity, he has the ability to force everyone to bow to you. And indeed, he said in his word, in what Sicha he said, "As long as I leave every niche I bow to you, and yet you will not compel us to do so. He wants us to come to the place of love so that we have a love relationship with him. Now you just imagine that as a man, you see a girl that you like and you say to us that you love the girl and you compare that lady to Maryhead, you force her to take her to your house and she says, "I don't love you and you said, 'Me, I love you, my love is not fair.' So that's where you must be my wife and you compare her to all of that. What kind of relationship do you think you have with the woman? Would you even have a relationship because, in life, there's something called reciprocation, reciprocity, there must be a reciprocation of love for you to actually enjoy it. But now we have this God, what stands out amongst other girls, who is not waiting for you to qualify and deserve his love. You see, that's what makes him distinguished, his love is on conviction now, his love is not tied to anything. He loves you just the way you are and in that state, the way you are, he paid the price to pay you back, take you back, bring you out of the don't rule of sin. He paid the price to smudge you from the hands of Satan. You didn't deserve it, you were not looking for it, Hallelujah. So the Bible says, "No greater love than a man, half of his friend, learn to lay down his life and to die, no greater love, no greater love, praise the Lord." That is what makes God to stand out amongst other girls, that is what makes him different, that is what makes him so invincible and so uncomfortable. You do not suffer losses loving, rather you gain. What you think are losses, actually I'm not losses, they are losses to your enemy but you is gain, praise the Lord. So today we want to look at the will of God, working in the will of God, in the light of this very important subject of love. People love is so powerful. How do you want to say, "Eka, you convinced me that you love me, when all you do all day is to cause me pain, make me weep, make me suffer, make me cry. What you do all day is to abuse my body and then you say, "You love me," then you do have a very funny way of showing in your love, I must tell you, praise the Lord, Hallelujah. So even naturally speaking, there are certain things that go with love. When somebody says, "I love you," there are things you expect to see that will make you to understand that this is love. And remember, love is not love until it is expressed. And though love is tangible, you don't really see it, it is not a feasible thing and yet it is not an abstract. Love is not an abstract because love is a living force. You don't see it discover, you can't deny its presence, where love is, you cannot deny its presence. People, what I am trying to bring to your mind this morning is this, that love as it is, if I tell you to describe love for me, you are going to describe it with certain actions, true or false. So love is seen in our actions and in our words. So if you say you love the Lord, but that too, God should see it in your actions. If you say you love God, and you struggle with every instruction it gives to you, there is a big flat question mark on your love, true or false. Just a few few guy tells you that he loves you and then he gives you, even some of the money gives you one whole slap for breakfast, a slap and a glue for lunch, a slap and three blows for supper. The next time he opens his mouth to tell you, "I love you, what will you have?" If you are like me, you will be so irritated that he is like, "What the hell?" I don't think you know what you are talking about. There is the Lord. So God wants us to work with Him in His will, and what He would got in His will is what he would concern us with God's plans, programs, and that, for His kingdom and for your life. So if God now, you know, you tell God, "I love you," and you have a problem with Him on every or anything I thought He says to you. So He says, "If you love me, you keep my commandments." So God sees your love for Him in your obedience, and you are accepted to align yourself to His will. Are you with me, people? Praise the Lord. So when you are in a love relationship with God, you do not struggle to do what He tells you to do. Listen to me, people. You told Abraham, "At times, you have waited for for twenty-five solid years from the time God promised, past twenty-five years." So others, He has waited longer than that. But from the time God met with him, I am saying, "Shahab, it's a twenty-five solid years." I forgot to return and say, "That same child," and in case he was beginning to adapt, in case he was pretending not to hear, he said, "Well, you look Isaac, so you would think it is Ishmael. I am asking him." Give him to me. Don't mind what Hollywood did. That was the mind of a producer, because he cannot imagine how naturally a human being can respond so calmly to that kind of thing. But if you listen to the scripture, he did not take you, he cut it everything, and the worst part was when, as they were going, Isaac now says, "My father, my father." It's not the first time we've been going to sacrifice. Usually when we are going, I see some man, man, but this time I can see the root. There is a knife. Where is the man? What the father didn't tell me was that you are the man. How do I know that Abraham did instruct me? Because when you work with God, and you build intimacy, one thing that you are supposed to do, it's supposed to come out of that word with God, is a knowledge of God, knowing his character, knowing his person, knowing who he is. What is the quality of his love? Don't say, "I love you," and then he kills you. He doesn't say, "I love you," and then he denies you, and tells his back on you. That is not the kind of love that God demonstrates. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever God's love gives and gives and gives and gives without liberty. Even on to the only begotten son that he had. How do I know that Abraham did it again? He told the servants, "Wait for us here. I am the love we are going to worship God here now, and we shall return, because I shall return." And in Hebrews we are told, he said, "If I follow Isaac, because of you, he received him back in a figure, because of you God was able to bring him back to you." God was able. You cannot have that kind of knowledge, and then it would be like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." That was why he had the confidence of not telling the mother about it, because he knew God would not take without giving. God would not take anything that he had not also for giving you. So when he said, "Well, she gives Ty, for example," he says, "Give me one breath." He asks for one breath, because he has to give you ten. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah. Praise the Lord! Amen. Please give me some one or two, some one or two, give me the King James Version, because it's 13 and 14. Hallelujah. I want you to, as you sit there, just begin to appraise yourself, your love for God, you know? If I ask you if you love the Lord, you know your hands will go very fast, but when teachers like this begin to come, then you are asking yourself some questions and certain things are jabbing you, and you remember how you withheld that one last one hundred can ask you that God said, "Give you, did you give?" To that person who was really in need, and you said, "This is my last God." But the person that God said, "Give to you," he didn't even have last God. Yeah, you have last God at least. That one doesn't even have last God. You couldn't trust God enough to give to you. But of course, if you are meeting, you say, "Oh, the whole week I've not done my laundry." So that's why evangelism, yeah, God to understand, after all that, I'm not going to evangelism with that to close. God will not represent Him well. You are now doing PR for God, you want to do lawyer for God. How many times have you turned your back and 10, 10 years to his verse, how many times? And you went to buy that phone, and he told you, "I need that money, my kingdom." You say, "Ah, God, this is the trending thing now." "We try day, we try day song." You present that like you did in here. How many times did you turn the deaf ear when he was telling you that that dress you are wearing? I don't like it. It does not represent my image. How many times did he tell you, "Son, pick up the trousers and put it on the wrist, not below your good thoughts?" There has now distorted your beauty and your handsomeness, and now you are working like this. And so the fine boy that God has made you, that you can work with faith and with elegance, you know, and with authority and dignity, with your imposing nature, now you are working like this. You have to stop at the image of God. How many times did he tell you, "Don't put it there, but it's here." And you said, "No, I am a happening guy. I love the Lord. I love the Lord." The tiny, tiny, little things he expects of you, the little little things he expects from the little little things just for you to activity and accept, you see, how many times did he tell you to shut your mouth to that provocation, shut your mouth, don't say anything. You say, "I know God, you know me." Nobody can get the last word for what. I must get the last word. Mommy, cut me shallow. Mommy, cut me short. Let me talk. What is it? Hey, what did you say? Hey, what did you say? Hey, what did you say? What did you say to God was like, "I love the Lord." How many times has it prompted you to pray, or you chose to sleep? How many times did you miss church, not because you were incapacitated, or because you chose something better than me? But when you needed something from him, Father, stop what am I going to do, right now? God! Can you hear me, or I should shout louder? God! Please, where you are right now, stop what am I going to do for that child need attention. Come down right now, give me right now, pray for me right now, sometimes I wonder, if God were to treat us the way we treat him sometimes, how would it be? The way that that your sister brought the alphabet to you, and he has thought, "Chose, touch me, touch me, forgive me, forgive me." You are refusing to hear, "Now, if you are gone to God, and you say, 'Have one in the shot of your glory, and your grace, I have messed up, not forgive me, and God does this.' God, please forgive me, and does this. Oh, please forgive me, out of coverage area. Oh, please forgive me, what are you going to do, where will you start? How dare you do to your fellow human being, what you don't want God to do to you? That's the person sitting next to you, I will tell you. The person has apologized, he has said, "Chantua, Chantua is what I am trying, he has sent every spirit, he has said, 'Ahh, you could not even respect this near people he sent.' I saw that one, even if God should come back, God will not come back, because of you. You say, 'You won't forgive me.' But when you have your own mess up, you came to him, you won't get him to stop everything he was in, I don't stop you. If you stop whatever you are doing, I provide that need for you. If you stop whatever, no, just leave those people in there, don't mind that, leave the other people praying, right now. It is only my voice you are hearing, my father, my father. You cannot love him, I am not through his will. Jesus said, 'My father loves me, my father never leaves me, always with me, why? Because I do all waste those things that you see. Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon sorrow, for the time to favor her, yea, the set time is come. This is where most of us come. And then we begin, fire, pray out, pray for love, pray for love. This is set time law, set time law, set time law, set time law, give me best fortune. Let's read it together. I never hear, louder, do you know that another word for favor is love? He said, do accomplish verse 12, because verse 13 was, sorry, accomplish verse 13, because verse 14 is already established. So the foundation upon which verse 13 is standing is actually verse 14. Thou shalt arise and favor shall arise, because of Zion, and set favor, because the set time is now. You would show your favor to Zion, because the set time is now, he said why? Because the inhabitants of Zion died seventh, they take nature in the stones, even the stones of Zion, the value of each of them, even the stones. When they come to Zion, and the stone is out of place, they put it in place, they cannot stand to see Zion in death. They take pleasure in the house of our favor even the dust, even the dust, even the dust. So he is passing, and there's a trinkum wrap on the floor, he doesn't stand the other way. This ashascra, what are they even doing? This ashasc, kandana shi, what are they not doing? They are not doing their work, what are they, why is this paper on the floor? Why is this thing there? What will happen if you also take the flasher and for what will happen? Why do you want to wait for 100% to guard me to do it? Why your presence anywhere should actually make the place better? There's a lot. This thick pleasure in her stones. They favor the dust spell. They so take care of Zion, they make sure that the agenda of God does not suffer. The program of God does not suffer. The house of God does not suffer. It's when you take care of that one. Then you, who is now the spiritual Zion of God? Now God will now begin to organize your body. He will now bring you, say, as many as barefoot, what? They are barefoot. It is a labor of love. They are barefoot so I prune them and remove every type of chanting from their life. I prune them so that they can be more useful to me. I will not allow anything to come and sit on their necks. There is a lot. So in the New Testament Jesus comes and says in Matthew chapter 6 verse 33, "Seek you first, the kingdom of God, and all these other things." So he begins by telling all the things that we say, "All this is your position, you are not supposed to pursue them." That is for the Gentiles. Leave it to the unbelievers. Let them be running outside the things, where they say, "You run after them." Because I am the source of the things. Cheers in the manufacturer, not the manufacturer of the Buddha. Cheers, they give up, not the gift. Cheers, the bless, and not the blessing. So those blessings, they are additions. Seek you first, the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you. People of God, the fundamental way to God's favor, the favor of God in your life, is for you to be rooted in his love. Not for him, not for his kingdom, not for his agenda. That is what will make you move through his will. You lose your will in his. Jesus said, "I could have a will, but I choose not to." Father, if it is your will, let us will, let us stop pass around me. Nevertheless, not my will. I choose to lose it. Not my will, but your will all be done. When was the last time you said that about? In all honesty. First, there is a drop of that. There was theory you promised to your salary in which multiple zeros. When you have a will, actually, to say, "Father, your will, not mine." Amen. Thank you. Where are you able to say that? Or did the multiple zeros had a stronger, you know, had a stronger pull of you? Maybe God didn't even want you to go there. If you had just waited a little bit, God had something better. But if something better is not the zeros, I'm not as many as that. But it is going somewhere. If only you be patient. So you went for the multiple zeros with a lot of troubles. There is a Lord. When was the last time you said, "Father, your will, not mine?" For the last time. If you love Him, you will do this to my needs. If you love Him, you will work in unison with His will. If you love Him, you will work with Him totally aligned to His ways. Not your ways. Praise the Lord. As I wrap up, please give me John chapter three to one. John chapter three to one. Let's see what's 15. Handy, give me the TPT version, translation of that. I'm reading 15 to 17. TPT, please. Praise the Lord. It's that after they had breakfast, Jesus said to Peter, "Simon, son of John." Do you bear with love for me more than this? Do you bear? You know what's means to bear? The way your heart was bended for that brother, that sister, that man, that brother, and the sister that... That was making you to call 20 times a day. In fact, some of you is 20 in the morning. 20 in the afternoon. And then, the last one in the night, it is called a standard co-continuous play. So, Hola, I'm fine. So, what's up? Oh, all is cool. So, what did you eat this evening? I ate rice. Oh, you ate rice. Oh, did you leave some for me? No, I didn't. Oh, why? Ah, why? What was inside the rice? And it is like my house. I say, "How many spirits were in the rice?" So, there's a spirit of fish. There's a spirit of chicken. There's a spirit of work on her. I say, "Okay." So, I went to sleep this night. No, I won't sleep. I won't sleep. And you are talking for hours. Well, of course, I'm okay for you. We'll get you. It's another taco. It's another taco. It's another taco. Another taco. Do you bear with love? Do you bear with love? Do you bear with love? Do you bear with love as being greater, higher, stronger than the love that is what I want for me?" He said, "Yes Lord, do you know that I have great affection for you?" Then he said, "What, if you do, indeed you love me, then do what? Do my will. Take care of my lumps. That is my will for you. Do it. Next verse. Jesus repeated his question one time and size, not enough. He needed to make assurance of this show. Jesus repeated his question the second time. "Sama Pita, do you bear with love for me? Do you? Do you? If you are the only man standing, if there were no other people around?" "Pita?" I said, "Yes my Lord. Do you know that I have great affection for you? The only way for you to prove it to me. Do my will. Take care of my ship. Take care of my lumps. They are tender. They are young. They need to be nurtured. They need to be guided. They need to be trained. Take care of my ship and quit them. Fix them. Prepare them for the field. Next one. Do you know that by the second time already? "Sama Pita's hat is beginning to come." "Pita's son of John." "Do you have great affection for me now?" Jesus is using his word. His own word. "Do you have great affection for me?" "Oh God Lord. Are you doubting my love for you?" "Oh, tell me. Are you doubting? Have you forgotten what I did when they came to arrest you in the garden? Have you forgotten?" "Do you? Do you? Do you? Do you? Do you? Do you? Do you? Do you not?" "Oh God. Oh God. Jesus. He was saddened by in us the third time and said, "My Lord, this is how I understand." So I made you know everything. You know everything now? I said, "Lord, you know everything. You know that I've been with love for you." So now he is now using Jesus' word. So there is now everything points. There is a fusion down. There is an understanding. There is an agreement. There is harmony. Jesus asked him twice, "Do you have been for love with love for me?" And he said, "You know, I have great affection for you. That touch time Jesus used his own word and he responded with Jesus' own words. We are now on the same page. Then feed my loves and he didn't ask him again. This morning, the Lord is asking you, "Are you burning for love with him? For him?" "Are you burning with love for him? Are you burning with love for me? Please look in words now and see the kind of answer you have for me." And see where you have to tighten the bolts and do all your adjustments here and there. Bow your heads and just begin to examine your work with God. Jesus is asking you this morning. I say, "Are you burning with love for me?" I say, "Are you burning with love for me?" I say, "Are you burning with love for me?" "Are you burning with love for me?" What are the things you have put before God? What are the things you prefer? You have preferred before God. You are competing with this place in your heart. And for that reason, you are struggling, struggling to obey God in your life. Most times it's not that you don't know what God wants you to put. Most times it's that you just don't know how you are going to leave that thing you love for you to do what you want you to do. I didn't want to get sick because I loved music. I loved to dance. So I didn't want to hear the amount of attention. Because my first contact with being born again was at this high life church. Then my sister was there and she's still there today. My dear husband, who is the pastor there also. And I'm the son in the house today. I wouldn't have to judge a number of times. How was I going to give up my uncommon son in church like this? I didn't understand this, but in the messy of God. One God wanted was to first of all, we need get me. So it took me to a place where I could hear the integrity of Zana. It took me to have arrested me there and began to not show me with love and with patience. And we didn't have that experience. Every love and attraction to set love music died. Every love and attraction to set love music died. And I enjoyed that for years. Patiently he brought me to the point. Now not into the other matter. What matters is his word. What matters is his presence. So I go to a deeper life church and I enjoy my service. I go to any place where they play music the way we play or not. I enjoy my service. He has not shed me to that point where it no longer matters. Are you burning it love for me more than this? Talk to the Lord. Talk to him personally. There are things that the Lord has asked you to do. And you know it, but you are dragging your feet. Because you just can't leave your comfort zone. You can't give up the fun you are having with your friends. You can't give up that love you have. For partying, for movies or whatever. Or for anything. Everything that has taken the place of God. And because of that, last shortly. That's the reason why things are not working in your life yet. That's the reason why you are so favorite. Because the favor of God tries on the bedrock of his love. The favor of God tries on the bedrock of his love. The favor of God tries. Jesus said, I have by that tribe in the love of my father. So whoever does the will, whoever does the commitment of the father. He also will pass and try in his love. And as a matter of fact, I am a father who comes into it and who dies with it. You pay no credit. Let's examine your work with God here. This is Srila's business time. It's not the time to look at your phone. It's not the time to be distracted by that new pain. It's not even the time to be distracted by processes in the CU. It's the time for you to behold God, I say, Father. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me Lord. Help me Lord.
