Welcome to another week of movie chronicles. I'm one of your hosts, Trent, joined by my other host, Tobias. How are you? Doing good, yep. So, another week, another episode. It is more news, more wild things going on in the world of entertainment. Yeah, for sure. So, what news do you got? What do you want, do you want to start us off? We always end up having a lot of the same stuff. Yeah, I actually don't have much, like, at all. Well, I have a lot. Okay. This isn't even movie news, this is just pop culture, I guess. That's what we do. Mark Zuckerberg is releasing an acoustic rap cover with T-Pain, so he's dabbling in the music industry now. That's a joke, right? I don't think so. I mean, I tried to see if it was a joke. It didn't seem like it was. Take it with a grain of salt, but... Just watch how he is transitioned. Like, do you remember when he made that surfing video? Yeah. Or he sang on the surfboard, like, what was he wearing a suit or something? And what was he doing? He was doing something on the surfboard. Yeah. So he started wearing a gold chain. He was singing a beer. Yeah. Yeah. It was like a, you know, like a very American song playing. Recently he's like, he's grown like a little bit of a scruffy beard. He had, he was wearing, like, a gold chain last video I saw. He's totally, like, transitioning into this hip white dude. And now he's releasing a song with T-Pain. Yeah. I mean, sure. He's also becoming kind of based, so, you know, testosterone will do that to you. Yeah. I guess. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Remember when, yeah. I say that because he was training for MMA, like a couple, like, did you go or something? That's right. Remember? He, like, did, like, some MMA fights. Yeah. You know, so he was, like, working out and training. He got ripped. Yeah. Alright, dude. And that's when he started becoming more based. Yeah. Because testosterone will do that. Yeah, he's a wild guy. He went from another podcast called T-Bros. What? She did a workout podcast called T-Bros. Yeah, T-Bros. Yeah. That'd be great. Yeah. He went from being a lizard man to a normal guy. Right. Like, seriously. Like, if you look at him, he's like night and day difference. Yeah. Nah. I don't know, man. Yeah. That's fun. Yeah. So there's more news related to Star Wars because they're always is. Yeah, seeing a lot of things. Last week, Rey is going to be, like, she's the future of-- Yes. I don't remember what the quote was, but she's the future. Because after-- after Rise of Skywalker to buy, what is it that we all wanted? More Rey. More Rey Skywalker. Or Rey Hitler who became the Skywalker. Rey Palpatine, who took the name of the Skywalker's and started her own-- Yeah. Palpatine won. Jedi Order. He-- Palpatine won in the end. That's the morals of Disney Star Wars. He was able to make his offspring completely obliterate the Skywalker name. Yes. And then he incorporates some lesbian witches in there somehow or use them to put them into the Jedi and do it severely. I think Rey-- I think Rey is the descendant of the power of one, the power of two, the power of Rey Skywalker. Well, yeah, didn't you see the movie? Like, they had the power of all the force users. So she is all the Jedi? Remember, we've talked about this. This whole trend of like-- with female characters in Heratine or transfusing all the powers of everyone else, if they didn't echo, she was-- she was all of her ancestors. They did it in-- well, I'm blanking on-- there was-- I know there was at least like three other ones. I mean, obviously, Rey Skywalker, she's the power of the Jedi, and then acolyte, the power of many, all the witches together, joining together to be one force. I know there's another like female superhero where they did this similar thing. Oh, I think it was like a what if thing. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. It's one of season's. Captain-- Carter. Captain Britain. Yeah. She like-- oh, yeah, she became-- got like all the powers, then they did the same thing in Secret Invasion with Gaia or whatever. She got the powers of all the Avengers, and she was super strongly in to kick everyone's butt. She was actually the most powerful Avenger ever because of that. That's one of the shows I didn't launch. Yeah, no, I didn't watch that either. So Rey is going to be the focus of everything. So they're not doubling. They're not tripling. They're quadrupling down on Rey Skywalker going forward. This is what-- this is Disney's plan, and they think it's going to be successful. They're going to take all this money. You know, I just-- I don't understand-- do they not-- are they that oblivious to everyone? They just think, oh, people don't like Rey because she's a woman, so therefore, we're just going to ignore the hate-- the hate, the sexist fans, and a pander to all our true fans, instead of just realizing, oh, maybe Rey is actually not a well written character. Maybe we didn't do such a good job at developing a character and making her this-- this Mary Sue who is super powerful and was able to find the will within to defeat a trained Sith Lord. I guess I don't know if Kylo was technically a Sith-- he was basically a Sith. This trained Sith apprentice and to be able to-- oh, and then we're going to kind of make a big deal about her backstory, but then-- oh, guess what, finds out she's nobody. Oh, wait, but then finds out-- oh, never mind. She was the granddaughter of the most evil person in the galaxy. She's all the Jedi, so we're cool. She was terribly written character. She had no flaws. She had nothing to overcome, and they're like, yeah, let's go with her. Well, not only that, so they're going to focus on Rey, and she's going to be an Obi-Wan-type character for the next generation. That's what they-- no, that's what they said. This is the direction we're going. Remember Ben Kenobi? Was his Rey Kenobi. Palpatine Skywalker. Yeah. Remember the rumors, or like the theories that Rey was a comedian? I hate Force Awakens so much. I'm sorry. I will admit I liked it when I first came out, though it wasn't-- I mean, I had-- it didn't sit that great with me, but I was like, okay, this is what we got, so-- I mean, I was still hyped for the whole trilogy, fine, whatever. I'm not anymore. I don't like it. It was terrible. Yeah. For sure. But remember, like, they-- you could just tell they had no plans. Yeah. They set up-- they set her up, like, I thought they set up as a Kenobi. Even her, like, fighting style was similar to Obi-Wan's. Yeah. Like, I remember theories breaking down how she fought the same way that Obi-Wan fought, and, like, in certain ways. It was Obi-Wan who spoke to her in the Force vision, or whatever, what she was saying, like, to take your footsteps, Rey, or something like that. Yeah. Well, there were some other theories, like-- I can't remember. There were some other-- like, not theories, there were evidences that backed up that thing. Little wasteful time. Yeah. So, I guess Jar Jar is going to be dethroned as the most important character in all of Star Wars. Yeah. Too bad. Too bad. Like, do they actually think this is going to make money-- like, do they not remember the Rise of Skywalker? They don't remember how poorly it was received, and how it was the lowest box office return of all three by a lot. Yeah. That's crazy. Do I remember the last Jedi? And they did not remember how-- did they not realize how much the brand of Star Wars has been dragged through the mud in the last three years? Four years? Yeah. They don't really care. No. I think-- so, what do you think-- how do you think Mandalorian and Grogu is going to do? What are releases? Box office-wise. I don't think it's going to-- say it's-- say it's-- say it's-- has good reviews. Well, if it's actually a good movie, it'll do well. But if it's not a good movie, people will know and nobody will go to watch it. Like they have to literally hear like this is a really good story. And that-- because that's what's selling right now. Good word of mouth. That's what's selling. It's word of mouth of like this is a good story. Heretic is doing pretty well, because people are hearing this is a good story, you know? Movies that have good stories are selling. Like that's-- that's what people want, and there's-- people have no patience, no money to spend on movies that are going to be crap. So I don't think Mandalorian and Grogu is going to do well at all. I think it's going to completely bomb-- maybe not completely bomb, it'll-- it'll get money for its name, but-- I don't think they'll make much, if not anything, profit-wise off of it. Like they'll maybe break even. Yeah, who knows what the budget's going to be. I don't think it's going to be a good story. So like I don't think they're capable of writing a good story, so yeah. So what I think is if they would have released this movie off of the hype of season two of the Mandalorian, I think it would be a huge success, it'd be a big deal. But they have-- they have lost that window, they've-- they've missed that window. And because of season three and everything that's come after it, Ahsoka say what you want, I don't think it was very good, it had some cool moments, it wasn't that good. They completely ruined Thrawn, he was a complete, effeminate, not very masculine villain. Yeah. And he was not intimidating. He was an idiot who made him really stupid plans and didn't know what he was doing, whatever. Ahsoka, I didn't like Soka at the end of the day. And no one saw it, it didn't get very many views, it didn't have enough hype around it as at least as much as they wanted. And so I think the brand has been so damaged that even if it comes out and it's like a good story, I think you're right, like worn a mouth could help it. But I'm thinking like, hey, what's the opening we can gonna be? I honestly think, okay, it's hard to say, yes, it's hard to say. It's been five years and once this comes out, it's gonna be what, six years, seven years is 26, 25, I don't even know anymore, whatever year it comes out, it's gonna be years since the last Star Wars movie in theaters. So it's hard to say like, okay, there's a Star Wars movie, are people gonna see it? I don't think so. I think opening weekend is gonna be so bad that they're gonna be scared in their boots, like no idea what to do. And then most likely it's gonna be bad. And so there's not gonna be word of mouth to get people to go see it. I think I think the Grogu hype has sailed, I think it was a fad, it was a big hype around the character for a little bit. I don't think it was, he was bigger than they were expecting him to be, as far as popular wise, you know, like every kid wanted a Grogu toy. And every parent wanted to get their kid a Grogu toy and you know have Grogu stuff all in the house. And just people just, they love Grogu, but I think that's past. Like we had three seasons and now he's just kind of a nuisance and kind of annoying. Yeah. And now they're titling the movie Mandalorian and Grogu, which I think is the dumbest title of a movie, a Star Wars movie. Yeah. No, I agree. I don't think it's gonna, there's nothing holding it up to perform well and people are just not interested. Checked out, you know, and like, and then they have the Dave Filoni movie, the finale of the Ahsoka and Mandalorian and by skeleton crew, what skeleton crew comes out next week are two weeks from now, December 5th or something. No, I don't think anyone's really looking forward to that, but it's setting like the same timeframe. Yeah. So anyways, Ahsoka and all this, they're going to do like an heir to the empire type movie to tie everything up and I just, I don't, I think they've, the brand is too damaged. I don't think people care. I don't, I don't think people are going to go see even a Star Wars movie in theaters. I mean, even, even I'm not going to go see Mandalorian and Grogu. I mean, unless we decide to do it for a podcast or something, like, well, apart from the podcast, like, like I'm not going to go see it opening night. I should crack myself. I'm not planning to go see it opening night. Like, there's no reason to go in the big crowd. Yeah. Well, I should take that back. Well, we'll be big right now. I'll cut that out. Actually, but, yeah, I mean, I've, there's no reason to rush to see, there's not going to be any hype for me to rush to see it, like, like in the past, I normally would have a desire to see movies like that first thing, but, yeah, yeah, since the force awakens, I've seen every movie except for solo, I think, no, I think I'm going to see it open night. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've seen every Star Wars movie opening night since the force awakens. And I was hyped every time. I was excited. I was hopeful every time, but slowly, movie after movie, I was let down. And then the last, the last Jedi was like my first moment of realization. And then I, I was foolish to think that the rise of Skywalker was going to change everything and, and kind of redeem the last Jedi, but it just made the last Jedi worse. Yeah. Great, the whole trilogy worse and it just felt moving. That movie. Way too bad. Last Jedi. All I can see is, well, I see Luke Skywalker getting the lightsaber, throwing it, and then I see him with the big nipple boop thing, getting the milk, like it's just like burning my brain when he's just like drinking the milk like an animal. Like, yep. And then they're smiling. Yeah. Like what a freak. Yeah. Gosh. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, that happened Luke Skywalker, everyone, the, the hero that saved the galaxy. Jeez. Okay. What else we got going on? No. Maybe I'll depress. Yeah. Let's move away from Star Wars. It was my fault. I made myself depressed. Um, I don't know if you saw this, but, uh, and that's actually a good question that I'll ask you. And I, I don't know if we've talked a little bit about it. I don't know much. I don't think we could talk about it on the podcast, but, um, but Jordan Peele has released a cryptic, um, picture, not really cryptic, uh, just an announcement, uh, picture for his next film, um, and it's, it's a little ways out. I'm pretty sure he was actually slated to release a movie on Christmas day this year, but something, I don't know what happened or it would say this year, next year. But anyways, he released a picture and all the picture said was 10, 23, 26. So October 23rd, 2026 setting up a movie before Halloween, right, you know, right up to Halloween and yeah, that's pretty much all I think he went and like Jimmy Fallon or something and talked about it and said basically I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm revealing absolutely nothing about this except for my release date. You guys will just have to wait and see and, uh, I mean, I'm interested. Like, well, no, he will eventually just right now he's, it's all he's, it's all he's saying. Yeah. So I know what, uh, have you seen get out us and nope, I've not seen nope. Okay. You gotta see nope, first of all, yeah, I don't have told you that multiple times. It's not on any streaming services and I'm not keen on buying it and fair. Yeah. I like her. Okay. That's really good. Yeah. Um, I like his movies to an extent. I understand that he's, um, he, he incorporates a lot of identity politics in his movies, you know, he creates a clear disparagement between whites and blacks and the oppression that white, the black people, you know, face under whites and he just throw, it makes it like very explicit in his movies. And it's like, okay, like a little too, little preaching makes it seem like racism's systemic. That's what he seems to be preaching pretty much. Did you see on my racist? Yeah. You have seen it. Did you see in theaters? Yeah. Okay. I can't remember because we watched it again, but anyways, or do I watch it with her back up the first time? So anyways, um, yeah, I know. So I, I recognize that aspect of his films, um, and I can put that aside and actually enjoy the film for the art because I do think he is a good storyteller and he does a good job at, um, well, I mean, he does a good job at making horror films. I would say, um, and adding just the horror aspect to these stories. I think get out has some redeeming aspects to it somewhat, I think, uh, I've only seen us once. So I don't remember much about it. I can't say much. Nope has a lot of redeeming aspects to it. That one's probably the less political, less identity politics, preachy, um, that I would say. Us isn't. They're still still there. Okay. Get out is really bad because that's all it's about. That's really what the movie's about is racism. That's right. Um, right. Um, but us isn't, I think there is some because there's like a white family and I'm sure they make some comments. Uh, but yeah, no, it's, it's not that bad for as far as, uh, is political. Get out's not racist because the white people want to be black people. See, the white people with the bodies, black people, they would be in touch into the black people. That's true. There's actually a lot of interesting things about that one for sure. We should, uh, we should review them. We should do review and just give like a really in depth look at all those, at those certain movies. Yeah. It'll be fun. Yeah. Anyways, cause I think there's good, there's like anything with anything that there's, there's good, they're good, the bad, the ugly, um, things that weren't picking apart. So you need to see no, um, I'm really interested. And why he could be doing next cause I don't know, I, I think there could be something. He is. He also can have black people, he is that a joke. It's gonna be all black people. I wonder if it's going to star a black person. Speaking of black people, by the air, two's coming out next week. Yeah. My man. Denzel. Yeah. Are you gonna see it? I don't know. I'll probably wait and see what people are saying. I hear what you say. Sure. Yeah. I'm gonna. I don't know if I'll see it open. Yeah, I don't know. I reckon I need to make plans if I'm babysitters. I'm gonna see it. I don't know. I've been, I've been, I've been avoiding reviews cause I, I want to go in with the very, uh, I'm going objectively with open mind, um, I, I've heard, I have though heard both good and bad. Like I've heard people of it and people hate it. So I don't know. Let's see. I'm interested. I'm curious. Yeah. We shall wait and see. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I've been, I've also been so busy. I don't know if I will. For that reason. Yeah. Let alone. Yeah. I don't know. Sure. I, I, I want to see it. I just don't know. Yeah. Mm hmm. Power win, but yeah. It's alright. So, you caught up on the pain one? No. Just kidding. I know. I know you have it. I, uh, I want, I want to keep watching it. It's just, uh, Maribel doesn't like it at all. So. At all. Really? Yeah. She hates it. Just cause it's boring or. She feels like she doesn't have anybody to connect with or root for. Like it's just, she doesn't, she doesn't connect with Sophia. How come? It's just bad guys against bad guys. So she's just like, I don't, I don't really want to watch this. Victor is pretty cool. The black kid. Yeah. Yeah. But he was a criminal too. So she's like, I can't root for him either. Right. He is coming down. Huh. Trent. Well, no, like in the first like three episodes, like he haven't gone that far. I mean, he, oh, okay. Well, I mean, like the beginning of the show, like he, he's joining the penguin. Oh, yeah. Yeah. He's a bag. Yeah. I'm just, that's what I mean. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He becomes a bit like he's a bad guy and he's a villain in the show. Sort of. I mean, they're all villains. Even one is the protagonist, but he's an antagonist, they, without spoiling anything, the show overall does a very good job at telling a sympathetic story that elite still leads you to hate the villain for him being a villain, but also love him for the villain that he is. You understand why he becomes who, who he is and the choices that he, he, you understand why he makes the choices that he makes. But you also hate the choices that he makes because he is still a villain. He still is evil. He still is wicked. He does terrible things. And they make that very clear. It's like, yeah, this penguins, he's pretty messed up and he'll do anything that he can in order to rise up in the ranks to become the, to become the, you know, a crime boss, the leader of the underworld, you know, to eventually beat Batman, like he'll, he'll do anything. Yeah. Yeah, no, it's, I mean, yeah, I'm enjoying it a lot and I, I want to keep watching it. It's just kind of slow. Yeah. Because it is. I mean, it's an hour. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, it's, my progress on this show is slow. Oh, yeah. But yeah, I don't, I don't think the show is slow. I think it's very entertaining. I mean, I think it's, it's very engaging. Okay. It's a lot of dialogue and there's not, there's not a lot of action. I mean, there, there's some, but there's always a lot of stakes and you're always like, you're always like at the edge of your seat, like, yeah, it's good. And they, and then what they do is Sophia Falcone, they do such a great job where like she's simple. You're like, you have sympathy towards her because you, you understand why she is, how she got to where she is and the past that she has had. But then you still see it. Oh, yeah. She's still villains. She makes terrible choices. And, you know, question always is, what are you going to do with the cards you've been dealt in life? Like Batman, he's had terrible things happen to him. His parents were murdered right in front of him, but he became a hero penguin. He had terrible things. He didn't have a father. His brothers died at a young age. And his mother went insane. And a whole bunch of other stuff happened to him that could get into, but, and how does he respond? Well, he becomes a villain. He has to fight to survive. He has to fight for power and he longs for that power and he'll do anything to get that power and to rise up the ranks to be the crime boss. And that's, that's the path that was woven for him and, or that he chose for himself. And so, anyways, it's just a great job. It makes me very clear. These are villains. These are bad guys and you hate them at the end, but then you, but you also can't help a lot of them. So this, so this is the best piece of Batman live action work that we have gotten since the dark night, like a hundred percent, my opinion, this is better than the Batman. This is better than that dark night, return rises, dark night rises. This is, I don't, I guess those two things, but anyways, this is definitely the best Batman content that we've gotten. It's just a good show. It's just well written. Take it out of Gotham. Take it out of Batman. It's still just well written show and just each, it's episode, like you never know which direction it's going to go. There's always high stakes involved and you keep some edge of your seat. You're invested in the characters. You want to know what happens and you laugh, you cry, and you're just, you're along for the ride and it's exciting, right? I loved it. It's fun. I want to talk spoilers, but I won't right now. Yeah. So. Yeah. Let's just say Colin Farrell does an incredible job. You don't even recognize him just like in the Batman, but it's even better. He's precise, better. But also he said, and I can say this because this was out there, he said, by the end of the penguin, you're going to, you're going to hate the penguin, you're going to hate his character. And that's true. So. Yeah. I really want to know what happens. Sucks. I'm still torn up about here. Huh. I want to watch it. Well, Finale wasn't perfect, but there were some choices that were like, eh, that's super stoked about that. Yeah. They do a weird thing with his mom at the end. Um, like, that was like, what, what, what, and other than that, it was good. It was well handled. Well done. Yeah. I want more. Yeah. For sure. I said right now, cancel the Batman to cancel it and do a Batman live action TV show. Come on. To buy one was the last live action Batman show that we got. What was the last one? Do you count Gotham? No, no, no, like Batman starring Batman. Yes. Batman starring Batman. Since like the 60s, Adam West Batman. Yeah. Okay. Holy firecracker Batman, that man Robin is very successful show. It was. And, um, very successful, very popular that was in the 60s. That's the last we've gotten. Why can't they? Why can't we get like a modern day Batman TV show, you know, fire, you know, hire a different Batman if our passion doesn't want to do a TV show, fine. We can find someone else. You can find a cheap actor who will play a good Bruce Wayne. And just do street level young, young Bruce Wayne, young Batman, you know, fight every week is just that, you know, one of his rose gallery of villains, you know, villain of the week every single week, you know, we got Riddler, we got Joker, we got Penguin, we got clay, clay face, we got, you know, even, you know, Catley Catwoman, we got, um, Poison Ivy, you know, all of them, like, they're not there each week. He has to deal with them. Yeah. He has his own struggles, his own challenges. And he's learned how to grow up and how to be a mature crime fighter, just detective Batman. Yeah. Come on. That would be so great. Hey, 2035, you and I are going to make that show. Oh, yeah. We are actually once, uh, becomes public domain at least whatever, whatever Batman ten years from now becomes, it's what it's like what the, play the first comic book adaptation of Batman. Yeah. As an American comics, uh, no, uh, I don't even know, but yeah. Let's do it. Yep. You can start writing the script. No. Nothing stopping us. Yeah. Ten years in the making. Starting now. Sorry. Detective comics number 27. Yeah. So you can use the, the Batman symbol in that Batman and the Batman. And right. Just like the general look of Batman. Pretty much it. Yeah. Yeah. Can't use any villains. So you can design your own Batman suit and all that. You can. This is true. No villains in that comic. Well, I mean, I think he just does some crime fighting. I don't know if there's like an actual, like, you know, known film that we, that he fought. I mean, I'm sure there's someone that, yeah, looks like it's just some gangsters. Hmm. Yeah. So let's do it. Yeah. Only 35. Yep. Okay. Coming up on 10 years. Hey. No. Let's do it. Yep. Okay. Anyways, what, you got anything else? You got any? I mean, yeah. No. I mean, we have the, the, man, Dwayne, well, Dwayne Johnson's new movie with the Christmas movie with Chris Evans is in it and JK Simmons and JK Simmons, um, I'm sorry, it just looks like another Christmas movie, another modern Christmas movie, um, kind of save Chris. They're just trying to, like, the new thing is to like modernize Santa. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much, but it, um, it's, Dwayne Johnson hasn't done a movie in a long time. We've kind of talked about it and how he's kind of been like coming out and like the same way. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Moana too. Yeah. But yeah, it was weird, like, because he had like three, four movies coming out every year and now he's, yeah, he took like at least a year off maybe more, he was a couple of years. Are you sure? But yeah. It's weird. It's a, it's a red one comes out tonight, it came out tonight and then Moana too comes out in two weeks. Thanks. Hmm. Yeah. I mean, my in-laws are taking the kids to go see it and that includes Rebecca and I. So I will be seeing it. Yes. Nice. Nice. Uh, I will, I will give my review, I'll give it a fair shake. Yeah. Like Jakey Simmons. So yeah, he, his last movie was FastX, which came out in 23. What? That was his last movie. He has been, he's been really heavily involved in, in WWE. That's what he's been doing. Oh yeah. Yeah. That's what he's been doing this last year is WWE stuff. Yep. Um, he has. So. Oh, I do have something. So, okay, I guess at the, uh, once this gets released, we, we will have found out who won the fight of the century Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul, a 30, a 58 year old man beating up a 25 year old YouTuber. Clearly not, uh, what's the word, rigged fights, clearly not rigged fights. Someone's getting a big bag. I mean, they're probably both getting paid. Oh yeah. All right. Well, okay. So what do you mean, Rick? So how do you think the fights gonna go? Let's, let's, let's, let's, let's all this, Mike Tyson. He is 58 years old, but he, but can you see his workout stuff? It's not that bad. 58. He's a 60 years old. That's not that bad. I mean, I guess my grandpa, I guess I grandpa's like 75, a six year old 58 still can knock someone out, can knock a kid out. I mean, sure. Okay. He's old. That's old though. I'm not for sure. He hasn't fought in third, like 30 years. Yeah. It's crazy. I mean, he's still got teeth so he can bite off his ear or something. Yeah. Okay. But, okay. But as you say, it's rigged. So what, like what, who do you think is going to win the fight or is it going to be a draw? Okay. Well, I think either, I don't know, okay, I don't know that it's necessarily rigged. I think it's probably not rigged and they just paid Mike Tyson a ton of money to get in the ring with a young kid and he's just going to get beaten up either. That's either a or which one's going to be Mike. Mike Tyson's going to be up because he's so old, so either a, it's rigged in the sense that they just pay this guy, this old guy a ton of money to get in a ring with a young kid to get beat up. Does he need it? Does he need it though? I mean, I don't know. We'll do anything for money at any age, and, or be if Jake, is Jake Paul, right? I can never remember. If Jake, if Jake Paul wins, it could have been rigged in the sense that, wait, no, sorry, sorry. Sorry. I mean, I thought he was a lot older than 58, so that's still pretty old, like you said, but I think, I don't know, I feel like he could still, it'll be an interesting fight for sure. All right, Jake Paul is 27, so he's put, you know, close to 30, but that's the peak age for any performer, any physical performer, like that's peak age, he's at his top right now, and he's going up against a 58-year-old. Right, so, and Jake Paul, from what I know, he's a good boxer, however, he fights a lot of washed-up old dudes, like he fought Floyd Mayweather, but that, he pretty much just danced around the whole time. They both just danced around, and I think it was just for charity or something, and it was definitely great, and they were just doing it to get money, because I think it ended a draw, or I don't remember where that went, or no, I think Floyd actually won that, but by a split decision, I don't know. Anyways, here's the thing, like if Mike Tyson wins, then he beat up Jake Paul, and Jake Paul got beat up by a 58-year-old man, and that pretty much ends his career, okay? Yeah, it's Mike Tyson, but he hasn't fought in 30 years. Now Mike Tyson is jacked right now, he's in top fighting shape, however, you're 58-years-old, you don't have much stamina, you're not going to last 10 rounds, you're going to maybe last like two or three, and put some heat on Jake, but after that, you're going to be gassed. Yeah, the muscles are going to be a bit tender at his old age. Right, but go the other way, Jake Paul wins, then what does he get? He beat up a 58-year-old man, he's like, "Okay, sure, it's Mike Tyson, but you can't load about that, like he was twice your age," so anyways, I don't know why they're doing this fight, because they're both putting their careers, their image, their legacy on the line, I don't think Mike Tyson has lost a fight, so Mike Tyson is risking his record to fight a 27-year-old boxer in his prime. So that's where I'm like, "Okay, is this really legit? Are they actually going to fight this out to the end, or is it going to make a knockout, or are they just going to dance around the whole time?" I don't know, I'm sorry, I take that completely back, he's 50 and six, so he does have six losses, but that's like, fine, nothing, they're probably small fights. He had 37 consecutive victories, he, you know, one of the best bosses, if not the best boxer of all time. He's sort of play Floyd Mayweather, I think he could be considered probably the best, but anyways, it's a 15-6, okay, but he's still risking his record to fight this 27-year-old hotshot YouTuber. I don't know, and if it's a draw, then everyone, you know, paid for Netflix for a month just to watch an old dude fight a young dude and then call it a draw by the end, so. It's only Netflix that's streaming it? Yeah, it's just Netflix, it's not paid per view, it's nothing, you have to sign up for Netflix. It's a live event, it's like 8 o'clock Eastern, I will be tuning in, I'll be watching, and it'll be interesting. Yeah. Apparently, they did their final, what do they call it, like whenever the boxers, like before they fight, like the final face off, whatever, is that what's called, I don't know, but apparently, Mike Tyson punched Jake Paul the face. He is an animal, he is insane, he's not right in the brain, oh, I gotta send you this video, but they've been doing a lot of promotional stuff, getting ready for the fight, and they've been like meeting and stuff and talking to interviews together, and this one interview, Jake Paul gifts, I don't know why, gifts Mike Tyson a pigeon, like a pet pigeon, I think Mike Tyson likes birds, so he gives him a pigeon, he like, you know, takes it out and he handles it really well, and Jake Paul's like, oh wow, I've never seen someone handle a pigeon for a really cool little, he holds it and he's like, thank you, thank you, Jake, I'll have to feed it to my to my hawk, when I get home, this would be the ones for my hawk, like what, I think it was a hawk, I don't know, whatever, one of his birds, he's like, or he's falcon, I think it was falcon, but it feeds my falcon, like, okay, Jake, or okay, Jason, whatever, oh my gosh, thanks to this gift, let me feed it to my other bird, this is a guy that bit off someone's ear in a boxing match, he's not right in the brain, that's funny, he should watch his interview with Joe Rogan, he said stuff I'm not gonna say on this podcast, stupid, okay, well this has been derailed, sometimes I forget we're even podcasting, do you have anything, do you want to do one final thing, alright, this is, so we got Craven the Hunter coming up in about a month, probably should be doing this closer to that, but I'm gonna do it now anyway, so let's rank our favorite Sonyverse films in a row, okay, our Sonyverse films, since Venom, okay, or Venomverse, Venomverse, so Venom 1, 2 and 3, Madam Web, Morbius, that's it, so that was 5, what's your number 1, are those 5 amazing films, well I mean it'd have to be Venom, yeah, I agree, Venom 1, what's your second, actually I don't even know what, I'd put it second, but yeah, wait have you not, wait have you seen Venom 3, yeah I haven't seen Venom 3, you're not even seen Venom 3, but based on what you've heard and what I said about it, let there be carnage, okay, that's, yeah I mean I do like last dance player, then let there be carnage, so last dance speed on my number 2, and then let there be carnage, what's that before, is that Madam Web or Morbius, Morbius was so bad, oh my goodness, but so was Madam Web, Madam Web was like my inner 10th, I think I'd agree, I think Madam Web would be on the number 4, well remember Madam Web had a good story behind the worst production quality of any large budget movie I've ever seen in my entire life, it had a good story, that's what you think, it's just kidding, I know, I know, we talked about it, we reviewed it, I think I still was so crazy, Morbius like I've seen it once, I remember walking out of the theater and just saying that was one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life, and I don't think I've, I've had no desire to watch it again, I probably will watch it again, I would, maybe I'll watch it in preparation for it, probably watch Madam Web again, I don't know that I'll ever watch Morbius again, I kind of want to watch Morbius and just be like, it's just really as bad as I thought it was, I do want to do that too, I saw it in theaters, I was excited about that, I was like, I was hyped for it, I was like, I'm ready for this, and I was walking out like, well yeah they teased Spiderman, they teased Ozcorp, they teased all these things, and then last minute they just took it a while, yeah, well Vulture was in a trailer, at the end, yeah, like that was it, that was the end credit scene, he was at the, he was at the freaking trailer, with the end credit scene in the trailer, that's how bad the movie was, and they knew it, that's why they put the end credit scene in the trailer, I just remember like, the whole plot just being such a mess, and like that third act was just the most rushed thing I've ever seen, and the most like convoluted mess, where like, things were happening, and none of it made sense, and it just, they were, it was done, I don't, yeah, there's our ranking of the very, Sony or maybe out of Venomverse movies, yeah, Craven, I'll see Craven opening night, I will be there opening night, rated R, our first rated R Sony even care, I'm done, because like, they're done with Venom, apparently Tom Hardy, there's rumors that Tom Hardy wants to come back, you know he said he's done, yeah, I don't know that they've announced, well the next logical thing would be them to make the sinister six movie that they've been wanting to do for the last 15 years, yeah, I was, I remember being so excited about that, well there's also the, what's it called, Spiderverse movie that's been completely trashed, aren't they making a, it's I think, a Mexican Spiderman villain movie, yes, they are, what's it, El Marto, but, El Marto, yeah, yep, that's supposedly happening, I guess, sure, why not, yeah, I don't know, I want, oh they're making a, I don't know what I want, oh this list does not seem up to date at all, I've always wanted to Craven, I've said this before, oh there's the, the Nicolas Cage show, but that's not Sony, Sony's got to be involved, they have to be involved, well it's Amazon, I mean like it's not like, let's say it's not Venomverse, I guess my, like, that's where I, yeah, I'm saying like are they gonna do more in this like, right, yeah, I guess that was feelings, Madam Web Craven, are they gonna do a lizard, are they gonna do a scorpion, they would, well, the MCUT's scorpion all the way back and homecoming, yeah, the, the prison mate, I met that guy, really, yeah, on the set of a better call saw, yeah, nice, yeah, it's like I had a cameo appearance and better call saw, yeah, so we'll find that, yeah, what else have you been into by, you've been on set with Tom Hanks, yeah, at Holmes, Tom Hanks has a movie out called Here, we talked about it last week, yeah, I still haven't seen it, probably we're not gonna see at this point, yeah, I thought about it, all right, we'll see, I want to see Heretic again, yeah, yeah, for sure, yeah, so the Spiderman line up, so we have Craven on her coming out next, yeah, supposedly beyond the spiderverse, but that's still not in the, in the calendar, so who knows when that's happening, no, so they have, there's a silk spider society series, what, that's, I don't know what's happening with that, who knows how far along that is, or I don't know even what universe that would be and it would probably be in this venom universe, and then El Muerto, and that's it, that's all the plans they have, besides Spiderman 4, Tom Holland's, well, I've, I've found a very, the most credible source on the internet, Reddit, saying silk spider society series, not going forward at Amazon, oh, is an Amazon one too, weird, apparently, so, so I wonder what silk, I feel like these, I feel like the Amazon ones will technically be a part of that same, I mean, I guess the Nicholas Cage one is part of this, like the, into the spiderverse, which I guess that would kind of connect it to it, so yeah, I guess it's not actually because it actually, it literally is a different universe because it's the, it's the noir universe, noir, we've been through this to buy a snow wire, noir, so, okay, silk, okay, so silk is a female spider woman person, no, a Korean American student who was bitten by the same rate of active spider, this gave Peter Parker, Spiderman, his powers, status, so series, unknown, possibly dead, not happening, probably unknown, possibly dead, so that's not happening, I don't even know about, oh, even on where to know is possibly dead, of course, well, I remember that, they literally have no plans, like for anything, no, it's just, they're like Star Wars, hey, here's the thing we're gonna do, yeah, I know, everybody's like white, like Elmerto was in like, I think one series of Spiderman comics, and then really nobody liked them in the comics, so they got rid of it, and so then everybody's like, why in the world are you making a movie about this guy, right, nobody wanted that, and that's, you know, Madam Webb, you know that very elderly old spider woman villain who has like mind control powers, let's make her young and lame and probably gay, but what's, I'm gonna, I'm sorry, I was gonna talk about Madam Webb, but I've completely blanked that movie out in my head, so I don't even remember what it was about, so I'll leave it at that, there has been, okay, the, the Spider-Verse movies are so good though, like so good, they're solid, I'm, I love those movies, from that, Spiderman has been completely measured and destroyed, budget, and all the villain ends, ugh, we haven't had a good Spiderman movie in a long time, besides the Spider-Verse movies, I mean actually a good one, yeah, no, we haven't, I mean, I don't know, I, I enjoy homecoming, well, I enjoyed homecoming, I'm, I actually enjoyed homecoming quite a bit, but, I like Michael Keaton, but then, oh yeah, for sure, and then, like, far from home, like, it's just too much Tony Stark, I mean, you got this Tony Stark villain, this Tony Stark super hero, that Spiderman, right, and it's just like, they killed the guy, and he couldn't, he couldn't stay out of the movie, and it just felt so over, like, they just, I think they just completely ruined Mysterio, and it's sad, Mysterio is like the best villain ever, yeah, my favorites, and they could have, it was, it was Mysterio and Craven that I really wanted to see, like, for the longest time in, in Spiderman, we got it teased in, um, amazing Spiderman 2, I think, I think he was one of the, one of the villains, well, was he, one of the Sinister Six villains that was teased Mysterio, maybe not? No, there wasn't a, was there a, I don't think there was a Mysterio suit, but there were talks of them, including Mysterio in the Sinister Six movie, but I was excited, and then, when they, I found out he was gonna be the villain in that one, that one, that one, that one was weird for me because my wife literally went into labor when we were watching it, it, it, yeah, wow, she, she suffered through it, I mean, she, I mean, she, okay, that sounds bad, like, she was going, having labor pains, it was about the, maybe it was about the pop, um, and we, we, we made it through, yeah, um, but, uh, that's funny, I don't, that's all I really remember about the movie, actually, well, I kind of, I mean, never mind, I'm not, this is, this has been a trade, right, brought to you by the Powell Bros. Yeah, I don't, I don't know, Spiderman's just not been traded, right, nor have the villains, and, so you like, with Mysterio, if they, if they like, did something more, and they can, they still can, you know, just detach him from the whole Tony Stark thing, because like, in the end of the movie, he's like, is there any, uh, is there any tricks here or whatever, and, and she was like, uh, there are no detected tricks or something like that, it was a very, it was an obscure way of saying that there's no tricks, and so they could still bring him back if they were to do a, uh, sinister sticks, sinister six movie. But anyway, yeah, that's it, let's, and then just haven't taken up the mantle, but yeah, okay, let's do that. Yeah, that's a good idea. We should end this. Yeah, we should just, cool. We're good. We're done. All right, it's been fun. Well, thank you guys for listening. Hope you enjoyed the show, and sometimes what you get is just us talking, just conversing. Yep. And that's, that's fun. Yeah, I hope you enjoy this. Do it. Yeah, hope you enjoyed it. If you're, if you've seen any movies that you think are good, let us know about them. But yeah, yeah, enjoy the holiday season coming up and we'll see you guys next week. Remember to glorify God and watch good movies. We're out. Bye. See ya.
