It's getting colder now but that doesn't mean we don't want to put away the summer quite yet. We get fruity this episode with two very different types of fruit foward beers. La Calavera Jungle Boogie is a mixed fermented sour ale aged in oak barrels. It's an aggressive sour ale that reminds us of our favorite flemmish ales. Arpus Cherry Red Currant Apricot Vanilla Sour Ale is all those things. Arpus puts out great fruited beers that go more towards the pastry style. It's an intense fruit experience that goes down really smooth.
