Thanks in part to a deal with pharma giant Pfizer, 20 million new vaccines will be delivered to the country, giving hope to those parents of children ages 12-17 with pre-existing conditions. It is now projected 25 percent of that compromised population will have access to the vaccine in 2021. To date, more than half of Argentina’s population has been vaccinated with at least one dose. More news to cheer, the men’s rugby team laced its first-ever Olympic medal, after triumphing over Great Britain in the consolation bracket to earn bronze.
