If you’ve ever flown to another continent, you probably wished you had arrived before your plane landed. Once you have your ticket and found your seat there is nothing left to do. And being strapped in a seat for hours on end is b-o-r-i-n-g. But is what’s true of airline travel also true of our journey of faith? After we have obtained our ‘ticket’ of salvation, is God asking us to sit passively in our assigned seats until our arrival in heaven?
