Hebrews 11:23-28 "Counter-Cultural By Faith"

As we continue through our study of Hebrews 11, we come to the account of Moses and parents and how they lived by faith.
Moses' parents are presented with a choice: surrender their baby to the Egyptian soldiers to be thrown into the river, or hide the baby and preserve his life. Moses' parents choose to hide the baby from the murderous intent of Pharaoh because of their faith in the promises of God.
When Moses grows up, he is presented with the choice between the temporary pleasures of being in Pharaoh's court or the rejection and insult of following God. Moses chose, by faith, to seek the promises of God's eternal glory.
You and I have these choices before us today. How will we choose to live in light of our faith?
