Guest speaker Bruce Curry presented the sermon this week. From Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount, Bruce taught that we are tempted to give to the needy, pray, and fast in ways that bring public praise for our actions. Jesus reminds us that it is God's reward that matters, and that we are to pursue the Spiritual Disciplines in private.
