In amongst the conflict and confusion, confrontation and calamity the truth remains. The Apostle John was part of Jesus’ inner circle and was privy to many intimate moments. He was the one who rested on the chest of Jesus as they shared their last meal together. Therefore as we come to the text today let us receive a greater revelation of who God is and who we are in Him through the eyes and ears of the one who referred to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved.
