Mom, Dad, I humbly suggest you save some money and shop Amazon for back to school. It's for my growth, meaning my body's growing at an alarming rate. And clothes you buy me this year will be very small, very soon. Plus, the clothes I love today will be out of style tomorrow. But at least your wallet doesn't have to be my fashion victim if you shop low prices for school at Amazon. Hopefully this is helpful. Amazon, spend less, smile more. This summer, during the biggest sporting event of the year. Peacock turns to two broadcasting legends for the Olympics coverage you can't find anywhere else. Umm, I think they mean us. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to be. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland. And I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. What's up everyone, it's Noah Daniels and we're for another episode of the Real Hauntings Podcast. On this episode, we're continuing our journey through the stories that went viral on TikTok through Daniel's Stitch post. On this episode, we have Nora on to share her spooky, creepy story as all of these stories have really delivered from the interviews we've done. Nora, thank you so much for coming on the podcast. Thank you so much for having me. Absolutely, so one thing we'd love to find out from our guest before we get started is where they fall and what we call the believe-o-meters. Zero, meaning Ghost or Not Real and Tin, Ghost or Absolutely Real, where do you fall on that scale? Probably a strong age that goes through real life. Okay, what age were you when your first supernatural experience took place? According to my mom, I was five, so my grandparents used to live with us and they passed away within the same year when I was five years old. My parents raised us super religiously, so after they passed, my mom was really struggling internally with anxiety about the afterlife because I feel like that's a big, scary question. And so she would pray a lot to be like, "Did they go to heaven? What's going on? I don't know. It's having real." And she said that I came to her when I was five just out of the blue one day and was like, "Hey, Grandpa Grandma told me to tell you that they're fine, that I saw them two standing there with like this luminescence thing in between them is like what she described to me. I don't think I said the word luminescence, but I can remember what she told me and that they were just really happy and smiling and to tell my mom that specific message and to stop worrying. Well, I guess we're going to have an experience, at least it was, you know, like a pretty positive one. Yeah. Did your mom, 'cause I know in the story, it sounded like they don't always believe you when you tell them that you have paranormal experiences. What do you think it was about that one that she accepted versus maybe some of the other ones? I think that she saw it more as like a prayer answered. It kind of was just like her belief system that allowed that to be a comfort, as I'm sure it would be to really anyone in that period of grief. But I would say now we've had more discussions kind of since that video did go viral where she's asked me questions about certain things and she definitely has more of an open mind to it. I would say now. And have you had other, I mean, obviously the main story you shared, it was, you know, a visual haunting, but have you had other experiences where family members have visited or anything like that? Or was that kind of the only one from when you were a kid? That was the only one that had any significance of like, I know what this means. Everything else has been uncalled for, I like to say. Or like unwanted. Yeah. Kind of rude. Yeah. Like an intrusive thought, but a ghost appearing. Well, what age were you when your next experience happened? Had to be probably around middle school. So I think 11 or 12. I think that was the age of middle school. And these weren't any like direct instances like that. My friends used to call my parents house, like the haunted house because they would also experience weird things like it wouldn't just be me. And we're one time my mom had gone to the grocery store and we were all hanging out in my living room, studying together. And my parents kitchen cabinets, they have, you know, where you slam the cabinet and it kind of like slowly closes. It's got that blocker in it. We heard just like a wamp, like the cabinet just slammed and we all sat there and then we screamed and we ran into like a little bathroom in the dancers area and we hid there until my mom came home from the grocery store. Do you know why that house was so haunted? Did anything ever happen there before they lived there? I have no idea. I've thought about it. I've asked my parents. They don't know because they built that home themselves so they didn't move into it. And it kind of just happens wherever I'm living. I don't know if even if it's necessarily that house because it's happened in like apartments that I live with roommates that I've lived with have experienced things too. So you think maybe you're the catalyst for these. I really hope not. I think I like to think it's like it's a coincidence that maybe I just picked interesting places to live. Do you say your personality or are you into like horror stuff spooky stuff in general or would you rather this stuff not happen around you. So I like to say both because I am really into like my decor in my home. I thrift a lot of it. I go and teach shopping. I look specifically for like portraits of like old people that a lot of people would find like discomforting. So I like that, but I don't necessarily like welcome experiences like I'm not going out of my way to kind of learn about how to interact or what that means. I try to like I like to make jokes with my friends like if they stay over there and I say we're here, we can coexist and I think that's best. Well, speaking of coexist, you did have that experience you shared on TikTok and it didn't sound like very much coexisting was going on in that one. Can you kind of set the stage for us as you led into I guess kind of getting into the bed before everything kicked off and take us through what happened. Yeah, so at the time my son was five months old and he and I said this in the video too because I knew so many people were going to be like you were sleep deprived or whatever he was sleeping through the night like eight hours a night. So I put him to bed around seven or eight p.m. and then I need to know with my family watching movie do whatever and then I would go upstairs and because me and him shared a room at the time. So that's exactly what I did I just ended my night as usual. I went upstairs to my room and of course like I do scroll my phone for like an hour. So I was turned away from the doors so my son's career was this way and the door was this way and as I was like rolling over to my side to like get ready to actually go to sleep. I hear someone like walking up the stairs and I immediately thought it was my brother because he is the only person that lived upstairs with me. And so I didn't think anything of it just sounded normal. And I see like what looks like my brother he into my room. And again I'm not thinking it's anything weird because he's Sam and he's weird. He does weird stuff like that. And you know it was him like his hair was outline of his hair his body like everything it just looked like Sam. And I look up at it and I'm like what are you doing like stop what are you doing. And there's no answer and I'm like Sam stop what are you doing. And I remember like specifically calling it like Sam and it moves from peeking into my door to standing right dead center like in my door frame just kind of like stiff like just standing and staring. And I said like one more time like what are you doing. And I started like to put together that it wasn't Sam like something just felt off like immediately the energy just felt really strange. And in that moment that I was like putting together like oh shit. It just I don't even know how to explain it like I stopped looking like Sam for half of a second. And then it kind of just drifted away like sand like it just disappeared as if it was grains of grains of sand. I did not like that one bit. It was terrifying. And it was so it was so there like it was just insane because it looked like a person like it was there just like visually and it was less than five feet away from me at the time. And so when that happened and and you saw like the I thought you said grains of Sam at first I was like oh no. Did you saw the the spirit or whatever it was kind of dissipate. Did you go under your covers and like try to fall asleep did you get up and chase it out like what was your immediate reaction. But no so unfortunately in fight or flight I just freeze. So when it happened I just froze like I'm I just sat there for a while because I had sat up in bed. And I just was staring at the door for a while. And when I finally like got myself together because I was like terrified because it was that thought process of like did I just see that yes I absolutely just thought that like over and over and over again. I just like laid back down after I closed the door of course and scroll to my phone all night like I don't think I went to sleep that night. And did your baby have any reaction to it or no not really he stayed sleeping. How were you able to process and take in what just happened. I feel like it shook me to my core because it was like I said the only words I could use in my brain were like that was so real. There is no mistaking that it was a shadow or I just made it up or oh I just like once and it's there and it's gone like that fully was there looking at me and it moved. And then like I just I feel like I kept playing over and over in my head trying to maybe rationalize it but I couldn't. And just the sensation of like having to recognize that it was really there was very unsettling at the time. And did you tell your brother Sam about what happened. I asked him the next day because I knew that sometimes he would peek in and check on Theo from time to time and he was asleep already. Well let me just ask you I mean what do you think that entity was or do you think it's better to go ahead and jump to kind of the next leg of the story and then go into that. Maybe the next part of the story. At the time I had no idea. I was sure. I just like it's a dude I guess. Like I didn't have any. It's a dude made out of sand. He just made out of sand just coming to hang out. So yeah so yeah let's go and you tried to kind of resolve what happened once you tell us about that. Yeah so it actually the only reason I actually like sought drastic measures was because it happened again about a week later. My son's father would sometimes stay with us if he wasn't working like a graveyard shift at a warehouse. And I at this point had been sleeping with my door closed every single night since then. And same thing I like had gone upstairs scrolling on my phone went to go face towards the door that was now closed and I thought I saw Christian standing in my room like even closer to me. It was the same type of thing of like oh like that's Christian like it looks like him curly hair pipe whatever. He's at work. He's not here and how would he get into my home. Like none of this is making sense. So again as soon as I was like my brain was putting together like hey this is a red alert. Same thing but this time I like got a glance of its face and it was the most terrifying thing that I've ever seen it was just like this really pale face with no other features like no nose the eyes the mouth. It was just like a face without a face. I don't know if that's saying that correctly but it was terrifying and again just disappeared like sand just gone. And that night I stayed up like with my flash to make sure the entire night because I didn't want to wake the baby because it's very hard to get him to go back down once he's out. At some point I did get brave after like move him with like downstairs to the couch with me. And then I told my mom about it and I was like I don't care if you don't believe me need to call a priest or something because it's not normal or like absolutely not normal. And she at the time I think was just trying to make me feel better and try to comfort me. And so she called her friend who has prayed over homes before and has done it for years. And so she came over later that I think the next day and maybe the weekend came over to pray over the room. She was up there for quite some time which I like I think I said in my video like I didn't question it because I will my I don't know what all that entails. But when she came down she spoke to my mom and not me and then she left and then my mom asked to speak to me because we were all outside by the pool. And she told me that Miss Angie told her of all her years of doing this she's never walked into a space and got like chills all over her body or the hair standing up everywhere. And that whatever was there was gone now and that she prayed it away and she gave me prayers to use in case I see it again or in case it came back. She was saying it wasn't good whatever it was wasn't good. And I have not seen it since but it's still absolutely terrifying to think about that that was real and that somebody else that that practices and like praying these these entities out like recognized it. Anybody online once you describe or you know when in that story that you shared you describe what it looked like kind of being a featureless grave thing did anybody's give you any indication of what it could have been. I guess yeah I got a lot of suggestions of what I know the Internet's full of opinions. Yes, one of the most common things I did see it's called a mimic where it'll basically resemble somebody that you love family member friend so that you trust it. I saw a lot of people saying straight up that it's a demon which okay like you know easy and sure why not sure why not mine is lovely mimic was probably the one that I saw the most other people are just like yes get to front again I'm like why not like again why not but I yeah I don't I don't really know what it was to be fair I don't ever really want to find out or investigate further. I did not get a good feeling from it the second time I saw it for sure. Did you have anything other than being you know like a new mother was there anything else going on in your life that you feel like could have triggered having something paranormal happen. Probably I mean I saw a lot of the comments that I saw were suggesting that like even if I wasn't sleep deprived like negative spirits can kind of target women who just gave birth who are postpartum because they're vulnerable like emotionally mentally like it's a very stressful time so to speak. I also think at the time in that relationship it was a very stressful thing going on and I just think overall my garb is kind of down and I think I was definitely more susceptible to I guess something super negative but yeah that's all I could that's all I could think I know a lot of the comments are suggesting the postpartum thing. I'm even somewhere suggesting that I had to do with the baby. I was like I hope not. Did you when your mother's friend came over and prayed over the room or that space. Did you yourself feel like something lifted out like did you feel a change in the air vibe in that area. I remember feeling less fearful I don't know if I felt like energy wise anything different I just know that I felt a lot less fearful. I didn't stay in that room long after that I actually ended up moving until like an apartment that my parents like built onto the house from my grandparents years ago. Yeah I just couldn't just let the idea of that space I didn't like it anymore and it's actually used for storage now like it's not a better anything and it's just a closet basically. And did it feel threatening when it was happening and I know people feel different ways when these paranormal experiences take place and we did it feel unsafe. I've thought about that and I'm not sure if it felt unsafe because I was scared or if it was actually unsafe. My first when I thought it was Sam looking into the door it just kind of look curious like when I play it back in my mind it almost just look like it was studying me. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but yeah I feel fear from it but I have a hard time saying whether that's on me or like whatever it was. And have you ever approached medium or psychic or anybody that kind of dabbles and that type of paranormal and ask them what that could have been. Now for that specific reason now I've gone for like other personal readings but I've never been brave enough to dabble into asking questions of why. Mainly because I don't think I am mentally prepared to open that that door if it's if it's a thing. And I no offense to the ghosties but don't necessarily want that. Yeah. You know. No I get it. I've been interviewing people for a while now and and I still don't want paranormal experiences. I'm happy to talk about and dive in and see what's going on but the one I had a couple years ago definitely freaked me out and I would just prefer no more ghosties in my life. It's scary when it happens to you you're like oh yeah like that. And like in this in this new house like I've had experiences still I've never seen something like that intense but whenever I do have an experience or like my friends will be here they'll have an experience. I just tell them like don't acknowledge it just like respected space. Is it more of a more of those kind of poltergeist type experiences where things are moving or doors are opening that type of thing. Yeah so one friend have has seen an actual entity but mostly it's just like poltergeist type like sitting on the couch with my friend we're watching a movie. And my bedroom door was like closed like very much closed and all of a sudden it opens up closes and opens back up. And we both just look at it and they were like don't pay attention to it and I was like okay perfect. You see that? Yeah no. And that's kind of easier to shake off now because I'm kind of just used to it which sounds insane. This one actually happened like probably a week ago my friend had come over to my house to hang out with me and my son while she was getting ready for a date. She had gone into the restroom and across from the restroom is like my office and like study area. And me and my son were in the living room and she said she walked past and she saw what she thought was me. But like a woman like crouched down looking up at the TV. And she walked to the dining room table and then she was like oh I need to ask I need to ask her something so she came back to like ask me something and it wasn't there. And then she heard me playing with my son all the way in the living room. And she was like no she just she just kept walking and she didn't even tell me that until the next day. She said she didn't want to like tell me that and leave the house and leave me alone. No Nora it sounds like another mimic what is happening. I don't know but that was her it didn't show I haven't seen anything like that. Like how you're like I don't know that sounds like her wrong. That's a you problem. Oh my goodness. What do you think it is about you that invites this paranormal activity. I don't know. I really don't I don't I don't know because I've never like sought it out like I could understand if like I was playing with a Ouija board or bought some like you know translator whatever they are. I've always been very accepting of it though so I don't know if it's like my open mind to it like I've always had an acceptance for a respect for almost we're like. I don't know my point of view is like how do we know that they don't have a right to be here. Like what if it was their house first. Like we don't know what happens after we die we could be in their situation if you know in the future. We don't know the social structure status. We have no idea what's beyond us and so like it's an even playing field in my opinion. But yeah maybe it's just like my acceptance of it that. Kind of makes it more noticeable to me. Yeah something I mean it it sounds like. I mean there are just people that are more I don't know if it's like a frequency or what but seem to be in tune with the paranormal and more things just seem to happen around them. And it sounds like no matter where you go these things kind of kick off so. I don't know it'll be interesting for you I think to see if your son also has these interactions with the paranormal or do any of your other family members. Do they experience things at the level that you do. No, which is I don't know I was trying to think of extended family I have like aunts that are open to it. But they haven't told me any stories. I find it interesting that like my roommates or like friends that are around me will also experience it. When I lived at an apartment like in 2020 I think my roommate that my Sarah the same girl is just talking about she all the time. Like if I wasn't at the apartment she's like why are you being sold out in the kitchen. And I was like I'm not home I don't know. And she would hear somebody cleaning the kitchen or somebody like messing around in the pantry. And then another time because our apartment was completely covered in carpet. I heard a sound like somebody walking around in high heels on hardwood floor up and down the halls. And then like this clicking sound of like like over and over again and I told that one to stop I was like what it. It pissed me off and it stopped. Just just little things that like not necessarily family but like my very close friends that spend a lot of time with me also experience things. Well I appreciate you sharing those stories with me and the audience. I'm glad that it seems like you made it out okay. I mean those are you know things that you probably will never forget. I mean I know that still like in the grand scheme of things those are pretty recent events. But the idea of seeing homeless at a monster but like something they're normal that is featureless. That is taking the shape of people you know that are close to you. I mean that's that's pretty scary. So hopefully you don't have to really you know deal with that again. If our audience wants to check out everything you have going on online as I know you do have a pretty cool social media presence. Where can they follow along with you. Yes so I mainly post on TikTok Nora hearts or Nora 13 with 300 scores because I love that username or Nora 13 with 300 scores on Instagram as well. Awesome and do you plan on continuing talking about the paranormal where how have things changed for you since that video went viral. Yeah so I have saved a lot of comments that I want to answer and kind of respond with video. And I think it would be interesting to continue to talk about it a little bit and be even more open than I already am. I was entertaining the idea of like talking to a media specifically about it and maybe making videos about that. Because I know a lot of people are asking like why or what else or tell us more. So it's an idea I just haven't really settled on. No I mean that's a big ask for YouTube to open yourself up like that. Yeah I think people because the internet is so vast and you know TikTok is such a dopamine dump where you just keep scrolling through and you hear story after story about whatever topic you're into. It can get to where you feel like you know as the user or the person taking in the information and you're just like tell us more. Do more of this and people don't quite understand that some of this could you know kind of be like people reliving their trauma of what to play. So it takes a lot of effort and energy to you know times go through this stuff. Well I will say you're a natural on the mic your voice is awesome for a medium like this so I really appreciate you coming on and sharing your stories. So with that I'm Noah Daniels. I'm Noah Hart. I like how you look around like how are we doing this. They're going to judge me. Yeah they're sitting in the corner like.
