Saying thank you to God before and after our prayers simple pushes God to do more for us. Give thanks to God in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. 1Thessalonians 5:18. Jesus Christ simply said that you God for I know you have heard me. This was said before even offering his prayer to call out Lazarus out of the tomb and God heard Him.
